The place is quite well planned in comparison to the other places around the area. Staff is very helpful and courteous. It is nearby to the main road. Parking is available at the property. Surely gives, specially the foreigners a god insight about various types of traditional lodging methods. Altogether a good place to stay. Safari services can be contacted from here.

Great choice for a relaxing place to stay near the nature park! Glamping tents (w/ en suite) or cottages available. Small pool relax around and a children’s playground too.

Very peaceful situation. Only 4 rooms and arranged so that each in its own building feels very private. Lovely infinity pool and quite large grounds which consist largely of scrub but good for spotting local birds. The chef/manager Veda, looked after us really well and cooked up some delicious Sri Lankan curries. I would thoroughly recommend it.

A lot of positives to report. Huts by the pool are spacious and fun. Pool is lovely. They arranged the safari and we were very happy with the driver and guide. Restaurant was alright too. Negatives are that it is not quite finished. Looks like they were expanding it but then ran out of money. Rooms are lacking a decent finish and could be cleaner. Overall a good price though and enjoyed it

It was a nice atmosphere, with nice take on camping (glamping). I loved it along with my better half. The luxury tents were a nice take on a tent. The mis match of equipment just added in to the experience to make it unique.

I think it was definitely an experience I would remember for years to come.

We stayed in one of the newer tents and without a doubt they are luxurious. Good attention to detail but it's a shame they're so close to the road as we could hear all the traffic from 5am (when the jeeps depart for the safari) meaning the experience was spoiled, especially after getting bad food at the buffet dinner.

Crazy excperience sleep in tent area, but worth it. Clean rooms/tents and very beautiful nature. Breakfast is served like buffee and very good. Friendly staff help organize safari tour: tickets, jeeps and even snacks.

Very friendly staff. They organised a romantic dinner for us. The dinner was probably the best dinner during our whole stay in Sri Lanka.
We stayed in a tent. It was a bit worn out but great with own toilet and comfy double bed!

As many other Sri Lanka staff, they try their best, but mid price accommodations miss real quality.
1. The fan didn't work. We told the manager and he promised to send someone, nobody came.
2. There were zeven or so wholes in the mosquito net.

Aircon, TV, nice bed and pool outside a lot of villa's.

Bathroom is a bit odd as it's all outside in a courtyard, including toilet. Literally step outside and sit in the sunshine! All part of the adventure of Sri Lanka.

We were pleasantly surprised by the staff who coordinated a honeymoon dinner surprise for us, and set a romantic table under the palm tree's away from others with flaming coconuts and cushions to sit on.

Close proximity to the Udawalawa NP, where they coordinate their own tours from the hotel. Saw many animals and our host was fun and friendly.

Good value, good experience.

Really nice place with great service and the best food I've had in Sri Lanka. Make sure you check your room before booking as some rooms are dodgy. Do NOT book the safari here. We did and it was very bad.

Nice place. Monkeys came visiting our tent, which was to our delight, and we spent hours just sitting outside and watching them. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, dinner was great as well. The only annoyance were other tourists: sharing tents wall-to-wall becomes a bit of a pain when your neighbors are drunk and loud. If you don't want to risk this, maybe booking a proper room instead of a tent might be a good idea.

I booked the tent room which is a neat idea, but badly executed. This room can't be locked nor is there a safe. The tent that I got had a broken zipper at the entrance, a hole in the roof and two broken mosquito nets. I received an “upgrade" to a run-down aircon room with a dirty bathroom and mouldy pillows. Stay away from this place.
