Great place for bird-watching in the dry zone. The watching season is October to March. Thousands of birds migrate here to escape the winter in the northern hemisphere. If you are patient and silent, hundreds of different bird species are present. Please keep in ind to not litter and pollute the environment. Some parts of the lagoon are boggy so there's a risk of sinking into the mud.
