A slightly surreal ' resort' experience and as it was my first ever I can't compare it to anything, but as a pretty lush room it was great .

Nothing much to say. Hotel environment is beautiful. Room service staff is helpful. But frount desk staff is not giving a good service and we had to change rooms as well due to an A/C issue. Food is the same no difference and not that much tasty.

Fantastic hotel with great staff! The food was excellent! The pool is really nice to relax next to during the day with a beer (or six)! You can walk into Habarana in about 10 minutes where you can shop at a local market.

A fantastic property within the cultural triangle. the spread of food is amazing out here. Local produce the stars. the rooms are spacious and very clean. all amenities provided. the surrounding lake is a treat at sunset.

the low rating is because the bed i had was not comfortable and the entertainment they had was a disgrace.

One of my favorite places. Have been here in childhood and re-visited in 2017. Still it haven't failed me to fallen in love with this place. Food is amazing. Fabulous eco-friendly atmosphere. Great mind healer and relaxation for your busy life. Two thumbs up!

I recently visited Sri Lanka and stayed in several hotels during my trip. My favourite place is the cinnamon village. It certainly ticked all the boxes.
I enjoyed several massages wherever I stayed. But the best massage I experienced was at the village. I believe the name of the therapist is Sanjith. He is professional and courteous. I would recommend him to your guests. In fact, if I ever return to your hotel I would seek him out again. Thank you for making my stay so good.

If peace of mind is what you seek, this is a place to visit. You can enjoy nature at its best. Sway on a hammock, sit in a tree house, gaze at a lake, enjoy the playfulness of monkeys and many more. The rooms are spacious and the food is fabulous. The room service menu has a good variety and healthy choices too. You can enjoy a candle lit dinner seated outside, in the main restaurant, closer to the pool while listening to the live music. All these blend in to give you the best relaxed stay.

This is a basic place, I was at the buffet, ok but many things were wrong. Cheese was dried and old and so were the cakes. Guy at the welcome desk was busy or wanted to be important. Waiters at the restaurant were rather nice.

Rooms were clean although one night we found a huge insect in the rooms, and the staff gave up taking it out and made us change rooms. The air conditioning was very hit and miss throughout our stay, sometimes noisy, sometimes not working. The bar area and snacks were lovely but limited, they could do with a wider selection. There were live bands some evenings and the all Inclusive dinner menu was fantastic. Pool was nice and not too crowded.

It's a nature based, lovely hotel.. If you want to get away from the hectic, artificial, city lifestyle, you deserve a stay here. There's a variety of food at buffet but not a vast one, yet satisfying. Rooms are fair and accompany you to a lovely view, you're expected see groups of monkeys, different species of birds and many more species of wildlife. Staff here are well trained and warm, which gives you the true sri lankan hospitality. Beautiful pool, more than anything you pay for the mind blowing view here. Recommended for all nature lovers 😊

Nice and relaxing. Currently laying by the pool with the sun starting to set. People playing volleyball and cricket nearby and the sound of animals all around. The food is nice. A good selection of local foods and international ones. The deserts are delicious! Would stay here again.
