We had a very warm welcome to Sri Lanka at this family run guest house. We chose to stay for two nights, which was just enough to do and see everything we wanted (climb up Pidurangula, safari with elephants and see Ritigala). But we couldn’t have made it without the help of the family who booked a safari jeep and taxi’d us around everywhere for a very fair price. And I haven’t even mentioned the food A train runs by three times a day but it was nothing we could worry about being from the city. Instead, we took a stroll down the railtrack at sunset, which we can highly recommend.

Lovely family run guest house inside a big garden. There were lots of mangos and coconuts grown naturally inside the garden. The owner even let me pick them up to taste. :-)
Very clean and has good standard and taste. The family run this place is genuinely kind. I totally enjoyed very authentic Sri Lankan home life during my stay with their mum's best curry!response / report this review -

Very good place to stay. Me I rent a scooter during my stay. It’s help me to go around easily. If not it’s a bit far from attractions. Very good value for money. And the people’s who run this place are lovely!!! I recommend strongly!!!

Nice place to visit with good surroundings and ability to visit all the places easily.. Transportation is also easy by railways and bus services.. Highly recommended
