  One of the most important place in Sri Lanka, which has a historical value. If you wish to spend a one night, there is a hall for staying with basic facilities. But water is limited..

  The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Sri Lanka and the World. The Stupa is on a Rock and other Ruins of a temple and Ponds available bottom the flat Land. There is a little facility for the pilgrims and travelers.
  Beware form cattle and Monkeys if you are planning to have a meal there. I show Elephant dungs by the side of the Path to Stupa during my Journey in Mid-April.
  A safe place and good to visit with Kids.

  Girihandu Seya is the first ever stupa in Sri lanka which was built by "Tapassu - Balluka" bothers. The stupa was built in the time of Lord Buddha.

  It's very old temple. You can sea wonderful view from the top of the mountain. Very near to asirimale Beach. Recommended to visit situated pulmudai to trincomalee road.

  Very historical place in sri lanka.. must visit. Nice environment. Middle of the forest. There is a car park and few shops.
