Great place to relax as it’s peaceful. Silk rooms are very spacious. Staff are nice but not efficient. They do not inform the guests of all the facilities eg. complimentary transport to beach nor Spa. Buffet was nothing fancy. Refilling of dishes are not done efficiently.

One of the worst place I have visited. Food is tasteless and restaurant service is very poor. Rooms were filled with mosquitoes. No proper hot water facility as well. Utter waste of money.

Staff is very friendly and cooperative. The environment is very quiet and good for relaxation. But the private pool is too deep and there were too many bugs and insects inside the villa, and for that I would give only 3 stars.

Stayed at the resort during last week December '17. Had a relaxing stay with family. The rooms are well maintained with a very big bathroom with jacuzzi.
Staff was courteous.
Breakfast was good with a mix of srilankan recipes and continental food.
Dinner was little disappointing as the Indian vegetarian food was not of great taste. The paratha didn't seem to be properly cooked. Pasta and soup was good.

Overall enjoyed the stay and the kids enjoyed too.

Great place to relax and enjoy a holiday with your family. few Kms away from beach but you can easily get to beach from the resort. between villa there is plenty of space and you have your privacy. standard food and great service.

Place is quiet and situated in a nice enviorenment. Though they advertise "jacuzzi in the room" as a facility. In my room it didn't work. I kept calling the reception for over 10min with no answer from the other end. Finally, I called the restaurant and the person who answered said he would send a staff member to help me operate the jacuzzi. After waiting another 10min, a guy turned up and with a smile and he said " jacuzzies have not been functioning for several months".

During breakfast I had a shocking experience where chef who was managing the omlette station, who was just 4 meters away from where i was having my breakfast refused to serve my omlette. He prepared it, left it on the action station, signalled me to come and get it and went away. I understand if Chefs do not want to serve but then he could have asked a restaurent staff to serve me or serve it himself as I was at the nearest table to him and was having my breakfast already.

I followed the invitation to this resort and must admit that in the beginning, I had my doubts if I would come to love this place, because it was not at the beach. The moment I arrived these doubts vanished. Cocoon Resorts and Villas in Induruwa, Bentota, are at a beautiful location. The whole estate is very well kept, the Spa is absolute unique with its indoor pool and waterfall and the outdoor pool is beautiful, too. I spent the whole day relaxing by the pool. The fact that this resort is very exclusive is a huge bonus. It was almost like I had the pool only to myself.

Upon arrival I was greeted with a bouquet of flowers and coconut water decorated with Araliya. I visited many hotels in Sri Lanka, but I never had such a greeting. The attention to detail is worth mentioning here. The staff is excellent and everything is built and decorated very lovely. The breakfast was the best I ever had in Sri Lanka. We were served several courses by the pool. The massage at the spa was excellent, staff is very friendly. I will definitely can come back, so far one of my favorite spots in Sri Lanka and 100% recommendable! (For photos IG @smeetastic)

Beautiful relaxing place to be. Villas are great. Very spacious and offers more. Even the silk rooms are bigger and beautiful.Very helpful staff. But need improvements in buffet and general maintenance.

Hotel rooms are quite big. But very poor service. It took 45 minutes to bring my bags to room. Buffet supposed to start at 7 but failed to maintain the schedule. Lunch buffet was cancelled due to lower no. of guest. Really disappointed. Not worth for the price.
