Stay away from this place. There are bedbugs (and tons of ants). After the night there I had dozens (probably more than 100) of bedbug bites on my body. Beside that the rooms and beds are quite dirty.

Nice atmosphere with a very nice funny and welcoming owner. Saman the owner offers everything he can to make your stay as pleasant as it could be. Rooms are small but ok maintained, could be a bit more clean (bathroom or linen) but as much as you can ask for the budget. Very nice atmosphere in the lobby with little lights like stars in the middle of the heart of the city. 6min foot walk to the 'toothtemple' and the lake. Good food around on all corners or even in the hotel as well. We enjoyed lots of very nice and interesting conversations with saman and the staff (mainly man).

We booked for 2 nights but we left the hotel after the first: we had a mouse in the room! The staff refused to change us the room. We spent all the night trying to take the mouse out unsuccesfully. Apart from that, the room was sooo dirty. Unacceptable.

if you are looking for a place to stay for a cheap price with good facilities this is the place.it cost around 3 bucks .the manager and the stuff are very friendly.also this is very close to almost all the places you are planning to go in kandy

Price does not correspond the quality. It is overpriced. If you want to live in the downtown and pay relatively less, be willing to sacrifice the comfort. Slim walls, you can hear everyone in the hotel. There are no windows to outside, only to common hall. There was only cold water. Because of bad ventilation, it is very damp, especially in the bathroom. We lived in the standard on the 1st floor with own bathrooom.
There are some pluses also:
- location
- nice staff
As for me, this is still a satisfactory option for one night stay, not more.

The manager was incredibly helpful and friendly. Each day we were offered complimentary soft drinks and water. On arrival we were presented with a map of the city, shown where to go and what to see. The night staff even accompanied my friend out on our moped after closing to show us where to get some late night local food.the room was small and basic but priced accordingly. The staff offered to clean the room daily and gave new bedding/towels on request. Lovely hotel, great location, highly recommended
