  Very spacious restaurant. As soon as they opened this place it was really good but they didn't maintain their standards. Poor customer service. Waiting time for food is way too much. They even had live bands playing at the premises specially on Friday nights

  Excellent place for night for romantic dinner.. live music was available on the day I visited. Several dishes are available and which I have tried, has it authentic taste.. the have passion fruit mojito which is really awsome.. I wish have a bigger glass of the same!

  Loved the ambience and the service. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place looks really good in the night and during the events they have. The food is pretty decent as well and is quite affordable. Their menu includes the full price (inclusive of taxes) so thats a really good thing.

  Me and one of my friends visited this place and tried their club sandwich and vanilla and strawberry milkshakes as drinks. Club sandwich is one of the most generic options you could think of. There was egg, smoked chicken, chicken ham, tomatoes, cheese and onions. The brown and white mix and match looks cute. And it serves with French fries too. The sandwiches did taste kinda salty for me. For the price, this was kinda alright.
  The milkshakes were so ice creamy in flavor rather than being milky and it was too sweet for our taste. The strawberry milkshake did consist of some fresh sliced strawberries which we liked.
  One thing you can't fault Chapter One for is their presentation. Even if the food does lack flavour, the plating certainly doesn't lack taste.
  You can choose to dine outside, though the indoors has a great ambiance with its exposed brick wall. It's actually a really beautiful place to dine in.
  Chapter One seems to focus on great presentation and affordability, but I wish they would work towards more impressive flavors.

  Quite underated place. They have a good menu. Prices are not so expensive. When it comes to the food, it's quite good. Ambient is also very nice. I love their outdoor seating.

  Positively one of the most underrated restaurants in Colombo.
  It's BYOB, there's no corkage or tax for food.
  No surprises with the bill.
  I highly recommend this restaurant, they've got spot to watch sports and a cafe as well.
  The ambiance is unreal.

  A restaurant with a nice ambience in this upscale neighborhood where there are other good dinning options as well. Food here is great. The portions may be too big for the average person. There was one glitch when I dined their with my family recently ; WiFi didn't work - most customers can be annoyed by this in this age of online living.

  Poor portions for the price you pay. Quality definitely low as well. You can get much better food at Café Noir & Tea Avenue for better prices.
