Lovely restaurant. Must say that the staff was very courteous and welcoming. Good to know the welfare activities they are associated with. There was live music, the evening we went. The owner/chef makes out of the way attempt to go to each table and greet.Food was good. Would call it a must visit place, while in Negombo.

We really loved to come to this place and enjoy the amazing food 🥘 (curry). The presentation of the food is top notch and it tastes as good as it looks. The owner walks around and ask everyone if they enjoy there food. The profit of his restaurant goes to charity!!!! Definitely coming back to experience amazing hospitality of this restaurant.

Unique in that it has 5 distinct spaces - outdoor, bar, couple and family restaurant spaces. The family sections are non smoking and the rest are smoking. The food and cocktails were excellent. The owner makes it a point to come and visit each table and say hello. Plus they have live music. The profits are used to fund an NGO for stray animals. All in all a place definitely worth going to.

Place to go to enjoy the seafood! Our crab and lobster were delicious. Cesar salad great. Ambiance is pleasant and personal professional. I am missing girls in the team. But this might be cultural thing.

This was really the most fantastic meal I had in Sri Lanka, unfortunately it was on the first night of our 2 week trip, and it set a very high expectation of what food would be like in Sri Lanka, but nowhere else on our trip measured up to Lords.

To give 5 stars is not easy because everything just had to be right. Food, taste, decor, style, identity, service, cleanliness, value for money, well everything. So I seldom do that. Give 5 stars I mean. Today I have to do that and I do it with pleasure.

A visit to Lords in Negombo was an absolute pleasure and I liked everything I mentioned before. And I had one of the rare experiences to have tried something completely new and added a new taste palette to my brain. Honestly I can’t remember the last time I have been so overwhelmed with a new fragrance like today.

I had the jackfruit & coconut vegetable curry and it was spot on. Delicious yet a bit provoking but had just the right mixture of sweet and spicy. Before the food had arrived I’d already looked at the facilities and they are inspiring and unique as well and Lords has certainly found it own style.
They have 5 different “outlets” as they call them. It is rooms where you can chose to sit and eat or just drink. Some for smoking and some for families. Also they offer live music at nights and there is great art around and colourful paintings on the walls. It is really a good concept. Yes, they are successful, but it doesn’t seem to have gone to their head yet.
    Absolutely great experience.

Nice restaurant. A bit too touristy to my taste, but good service and lots of choice. They even have a special vegan menu! Yay! Though the food took way too long before it got served, it tasted great.

This place has LOADS of options for vegans/vegetarians. The tofu tikka masala was one of the best curries I have ever had. Service is impeccable. Fabulous.

We came here twice. Food is delicious, we were 6 and tried a lot of different things. Everything was good.

The service is absolutely amazing without exaggerating. They are very polite, organized, very caring. For example they spontaneously gave us meds for one of us who didn't feel too well.

There are fish tanks for hands with the little fishes that eats your dead skin and a bigger one for your feet. It's free for the customers.

Great curries! Large portions, the curry is served in a coconut and comes with papadam and three chutneys. Tried one with cashes and raisins and one with pineapple and jack fruit. Very good! The wait for the table was enjoyable, too - they offer a free fish spa.

Very nice food, huge portions, great cocktails and super nice service. We arrived with two boys (6 & 4) and the staff brought out fish food so they could feed the cat fish in the pond and colouring books. Also the first place in Sri Lanka we've been to with a children's menu! Decor is a bit Birmingham night club circa 1990 but don't let that put you off!

Went there for our anniversary. Pretty nice place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is pretty good as well. Worth the price. Only problem is, it's bit hard to find a parking spot as they don't have a parking area. The owner (when we were there he did this) himself comes and looks out for you and your needs sometimes.

Very nice location, excellent food and dishes! But more important is what the owner has focused, giving something back to the country. He is engaged with his HOPE Foundation and looking after street dogs. Supporting him helps to neuter and vaccinate the dogs which helps to reduce infections etc. Time is precious and I am grateful he shared his with me!
