The location was awesome and the food was the far best I had in Sri Lanka, home made and with exceptional service. The 5 star hotels can never match this kind of authenticity and freshness of food. Loved it very much 👍🏾

Food was delicious, but a fish for 3900 rupies in such a restaurant is ridiculous! There was no menu card and I didn't expect that they bring me the hole fish (1kg). Although it was a big fish, the price per kg is not okay.

Great small no frills family run place with plenty of fresh fish. Menu subject to whatever’s caught that day. Beautiful view over the bay.

Lovely family run restaurant, with an incredible view. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of fresh fish, seasoned to perfection. One of the best fish we’ve had on the Sri Lankan coast so far. Extremely friendly service too! Not so cheap, but definitely worth it.

Restaurant has really good sea food. When we arrived instead of menu we saw the plate what is available at the moment. We liked everything we got here although it is not the cheap place.

Got here at 3pm after a very tiring bike ride and was greeted by a very friendly waiter. Family affair - waiter is the son, mum cooks and dad fishes. Ordered Calamari & Prawns - simple ingredients, deliciously fresh. Cute 2 month old dachshund puppies too!

After 2 weeks of eating incredible food around Sri Lanka, this was by far the most delicious.
The service was great, the waiter's father caught the fish and his mother cooked it. After we'd been seated and given our ice cold drinks we asked to see the menu, the menu was a beautiful dish full of the freshest fish I've seen with different prices for each one depending on size.
Please try for yourself, would highly recommend this gem just a short tuk-tuk ride outside of Tangalle city. Delicious!!response / report this review -

Beautiful setting with great views of the ocean. Nice and breezy and cool. No menu but if you take a seat the owner will show you a 'menu' on a platter - all the freshly caught seafood from this morning!! Family owned - father is fisherman and mother cooks the meals. Pricey but what you would expect to pay for fresh seafood. Incredibly cooked fish -so soft not overcooked at all. Highly recommended.

Absolutely great atmosphere- even at lunch time! Can only imagine what dinner is like
