We did not enjoy it there. The price for a sandwich, fruit salad and a pancake was raging 2000 (~15$) and the sandwich was dry. The waiter did not reply anything to my comment about the sandwich, which was also sad.
The settings were nicer than in traditional Sri Lankan eateries but that did not justify the price. You better find a cheaper place with a better cook.response / report this review -

Had breakfast here many times. I recommend the sandwiches, also the coffee which is professionally made. Had a rather disappointing experience with the pizza which I wasn't sure if it was made from fresh ingredients or just a frozen pizza. Nice location.

We loved this cafe! The food was excellent and the service was top notch as well. We enjoyed it so much that we ate here for two meals during our two nights in the Galle fort. We had the “special” pizza the first time, and for round two a tuna sandwich and a time steak. Each time the food was delicious and quickly provided. The cafe also took a variety of credit cards and provided friendly service each time we were there, plus the outdoor seating was perfect for people watching. Would certainly go back!

Wonderful atmosphere. Very good service and friendly staff. Loved the food. Had a cream chicken soup, Penne pasta with garlic, mushrooms and cheese and a Pedlar's inn special salad. All three were very fresh and beautifully presented

Good place inside the fort they have given nice antique look to the place by using lot of old stuff. Food was good and little bit hot price is manageable. Only negative was staff is very bussy and you have to wait and chase them to get the food ordered!!

Delicious food. We ordered fish for our main course, the balance of flavours was awesome, just the right amount of spices so that we could taste the fish. Most restaurants these days dump a load of spices and you dont really get the original flavour of the food,so we really enjoyed the food. The dessert was quite generous too. Staff are friendly and attentive. The place was full when we went so got a table at the back. It was way too warm. Something has to be done about those fans!

During our every visit to southern Sri Lanka we drop at Pedlar’s Inn for a late lunch. I love the atmosphere; colonial setup like in Dutch time. I would day cozy! They got a comprehensive menu, but it’s not total Sri Lanka menu. Delicious, and right amount of portion in every dish. Friendly staff and quick service, attentive whenever required. Highly recommended.

You can’t go wrong with excellent and friendly service plus the food is amazing. The traditional curry is fingerliking good and they’ll bring you an extra portion for free if you ask for it.

A good selection of coffees. Bohemian and vintage looking interior. Spacious and comfy seating arrangements so no need to worry about popping in for a quick coffee.

Beautiful little cafe with nice coffee and tea. The food wasn't bad. I tried the spaghetti marinara, which was straightforward (not spectacular), and the avocado prawn meal. It was actually prawn with a curious avocado sauce. Also not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Although it seems to be a popular cafe with the tourists, the food was a let down. The pizza bread while not being stale, seemed to have been kept longer than it should have. The pasta was okay. Overall, the price was not in keeping with the quality of the food

Welcoming atmosphere with nice seating at the entrance. Self-catering kitchen. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom is clean but shower is powerless. Staff is helpful. Unfortunately very noisy because lack of doors.

The place is very cozy and lovely. If you come with a crowd you can get one of the rooms and have a small private function.
The staff is very courteous and very helpful I. Organizing surprises and carrying it out perfectly!!!

Would have given 5 stars but the lobsters were not good at all. However, the special of the day had many other seafood including squid, fish and a crab. The curry was amazing and the waiter gave complimentary servings of string hoppers. Overall, it was a very good dinner only slightly marred by the mushy lobster meat.

I really just went there for a very quick coffee and snack by their service and professionalism. From the beginning, the staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I ordered a brownie was very delicious - the right amount of sweet which can be hard to find. The cappuccino on the other was not so good - too much foam and tasted more like a mocha. I didn't intend on saying much but when I was given then bill, they saw my pretty full cup of cappuccino and asked if it was okay and I said I didn't quite enjoy it and they took it off my bill! The service here has been some of the best service I've experienced in Sri Lanka.

One of the best restaurants in Galle. Good food, fast & friendly service with a nice ambience. Especially nice in the late afternoons & evening when you can sit outside & watch Galle fort.
