Me and my wife shared a 5 course meal which was good enough if you are not terrible hungry. All courses were on par or better what you get at the high end hotels but for much cheaper. The chicken dish was the best we had on the island.

Orlando's is owned and run by a former head chef form one of the local luxury hotels. It's really good to see local people establish their own businesses rather than leave all provision for tourists and visitors to be dominated by the big hotels. Visiting Orlando's was a refreshing change from the alternative corporate offers available elsewhere. It's well worth a visit, but be aware that the menu offers a limited choice; there is a 5 course fish-oriented tasting menu or a 5 course meat oriented tasting menu. There were no other options. I don't know whether this is the case every night, but it was the case on the evening that we visited. This said, the food was all very fresh, locally influenced and very imaginative and having accepted what we were in for, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here.

Do not miss out - this place is a gem. We’ve been to St Lucia 3 times and Orlando’s is hands down serves us the best, most memorable meals.. Better than any 5 star hotel restaurant (though those are good too.)
The different menus are so inspired, so local.. and the staff have always been wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit already

Do not miss out on Orlando’s! We had the best meal of our trip here. The service was unbeatable. The chef actually came out and talked over the menu with us. They also gave us complentary tasters in between each course. The restaurant has a really cool vibe and the prices were low compared to the high quality of food served there.

My wife and I came to Orlando’s during our honeymoon on December 10th. I’ll keep this short and sweet but everything was perfect. The atmosphere was very romantic and personal. The wine was the best I had while I was on the island and the food was impeccable. Chef Orlando came out and chatted with us both, took some pictures and gave us some background on how he got to where he is. He is such a nice guy and I truly wish him the best. If you’re in St. Lucia and looking for a truly romantic dinner experience you should go here. Way better than eating at your resort! Thank you so much for the memories chef!

This restaurant is amazing. It costs, but it is worth it!!! We had the choice of two 5 course set menus, and both were fabulous. The chef is wonderful, comes out to talk to you and check in several times over your meal. The red snapper risotto appetiser and king fish entree in particular blew our minds. Venture out of your hotel and go here!!! You will not regret it!

We had a delicious lunch here after Orlando opened up for us when we dropped by. He whipped up a few things for us that were off menu. Flavours were great. Definitely the place to check out in Soufriere.

Great local restaurant with great chef, used to be at Ladera resort but set up his own business. Treated us very friendly. Food wise is exquisite. We didn't do the dinner menu since we were for lunch, so Orlando cook something a la carte for us. Highly recommended if you are in the area and don't want expensive lunch and a more local experience.

Incredible dining experience! Staff and chef Meshach were wonderful and owner Orlando even came out to greet us and tell us of his 35+ years in the industry! The flavors of each course were extremely well done and perfectly portioned. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting the island. It is a MUST VISIT when you come to the island.

2 menus to choose from with a full 5 courses, both were excellent on the night I visited.

We visited Orlando's for lunch and dinner during our stay in Saint Lucia.
Food was fantastic with local feel. Portions are definitely on the smaller side when compared to what you get in the U.S. There are two different menus both pre-fixed, priced at $65 and $60 (includes appetizers, salad, main course and desert). The service was great: you get a chilled towel to wipe your hands, refreshing passion fruit drink and chefs complementary appetizer. We got an amazing service during the lunch as there were only 2 tables. But during our dinner the service was extremely slow as there were more customers. It might be explained by number of staff working on the kitchen (seemed like 2 people).

Well worth the visit. One of the best restaurants, anywhere ! Truly world class food and service. Orlando knows what and how to cook, knows service and knows how to provide an awesome dining experience. That his restaurant happens to be in the Pitons is but a bonus ! If you are at anchor, this is a must break from the cockpit!

Cute little gem run by Orlando a British who lives in Soufriere now. He greets all his guests and asks frequently if the food is good. We went for dinner where they basically have 2 set menus on offer. But he said you can also get something else if you ask. The mahi mahi was amazing as was the celery and sweet potato soup. Good alternative in town if you dont want to eat at one of the resorts for once.

In Soufriere my wife and I ran into a couple who have frequented St Lucia and were already here for 2 weeks. Orlando's restaurant was suggested as a place to eat. Eventually we decided to go for lunch. For 10$ US each we received a so much more than "a lunch." We were seated and provided with cool peppermint towelettes! How many stars does someone give that attention to detailsuperb. The server was very kind and calm, exuding the feel and hospitality of the caribbean.

That was followed by Orlando's own experiment of a mouth watering palete cleanser along with a wonderful welcome drink. Our lunch was rich in flavors..from the jerk seasoning to the open grill taste of the "meats." My wife and I chose the pasta dishes, one with chicken and one with the catch of the day, mahi mahi. Both were cooked to perfection. The desert was warmed banana with Vanilla ice cream and caramelized fruit. So simple yet exceptional flavorwill definitely try to recreate back home.
When the well travelled, popular and experienced owner personally welcomes you to his establishment it is a privilege and treat. Clearly he is an artist and shows immense passion for his trade and his "home." Thank you Orlando's for making our first day memorable!! We will be back for dinner and another few lunches before we head back to Canada!

Superb food. Order a bottle of wine and plan on having a leisurely dinner. Exceptionally friendly owner and waitstaff. Better than many of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in my hometown of Washington, DC. The perfect date night to wrap up our vacation in St Lucia!

Wandered in without a reservation and we were seated at the bar and had drinks while waiting to see if they any tables opened up. We were also content with eating at the bar since we hadn't made reservations, which is recommended. Chef sent out an appetizer with our drink and we had a salad course when they gave us a table because a reservation didn't show or was canceled last minute. We were treated with the utmost courtesy and excellent service. We felt more like guests of the chef than just a couple of people that wandered down from the Hummingbird Beach Resort looking in search of some dinner.
The atmosphere was relaxing and joyful and it was lovely to have dinner at a leisurely pace instead of one course after another being presented in brisk fashion when you're barely finished. Slow down, savor each bite, allow one course to settle and enjoy a conversation about the days events or tomorrow's next adventure.
