What a beautiful experience! Lush mature gardens, friendly staff and the owners serve as hospital hosts! If you are ever in Saint Lucia, this is a must-visit location in the pictureque Soufriere!

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Rounded of by staff that is genuine friendly and always trying to make your wishes come true. They may not always act according to international standard hotel staff protocol that one is used to from sandals & co., But the genuine care for the guest is what makes this special. If you are looking for "The Sandals Experience", Well, go to Sandals. If you want to meet St. Lucia, come here.

Even if you dont stay as overnight guest, sample the food and walk around the splendid, exotic gardens. The colours and views are spectacular. Food good too!

Great staff and attentive service. Breakfast buffet is great. Loved the welcome flowers and the valentines chocolates in the room. Restaurant has great options but is a little pricey.

Experience saint Lucia at this cute little plantation. Staff was friendly. Went for lunch and the coco tour. Lunch was a buffet of all local food. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Little souvenir shop on site. Really cool outdoor restrooms.

Working cocoa plantation transformed into decent 24-cottage resort, well run by owner occupants who've built a highly-helpful and intelligent staff. Not another stuffy pretentious place - just a un and highly educational one. A truly-great refreshing experience.

We arrived to St Lucia by Ferry from Martinique. The drive from Castries to Fond Doux Holiday Plantation took about 1.5 - 1.75 hours. Due to the late arrival, we weren't able to accept our welcome drinks but were happy to have these the next night. Friendly staff, nicely presented detached 'cottages/villa's' so noise disturbances, except nature, aren't an issue . Nice and relaxing. An array of teas and coffee choices were also warmly welcomed. Our villa had a king sized firm bed with mosquito net, fridge with ice box and all the other standard accessories. There is a gift shop on site which is a nice touch. Breakfast is served buffet style with a good selection served by friendly staff. They also have happy hour in the bar between 5 and 6 pm each night when certain drinks are discounted. There are some minor issues which I'd point out :- 1. It would have been a nice gesture if the staff offered to carry our bags to the room seeing as we arrived at 2 am and were incredibly fatigued 2. The plantation is in the middle of nowhere. It would have been nice to be offered a few more excursions or activities, for example, a shuttle to La Soufriere or the drive in Volcano. They offer a shuttle to Sugar beach only with daily departures at 10am with a 2pm or 4pm return. 3. Dinner service and food. With starters and mains costing approx $10-15 and $25 - 40, you'd expect better meals. Food is served too slow, sometimes taking an hour for mains to come out and plates take a while to be collected. There was one instance when we waited 20 minutes for a soup only to be told that it was no good and would we like an alternative which turned out very poor. The mains were okay but the sides were cold. Sevice could be friendlier. We had live music one night but it was so loud that conversation was impossible. Would suggest they go with an acoustic set next time. 4. The swimming pool didn't seem to be clean.

The most romantic place on the island. If your worried about no A.C. you will be just fine. This was one of my biggest wiry and almost didn't stay because I was worried about it but with the plunge pool and the regular pool we were very comfortable. Staff was amazing and dip friendly . Although everyone we had communication with on the island were very nice Fond Doux staff were some of the nicest.

My husband I had the pleasure of visiting the Foud Doux Plantation in January 2017. First and foremost, the people that worked there made you feel at home and cared for. The grounds and vegetation was magnificent. The views were so lush and the rooms gave you a feeling of what the place may have felt like in the past. The plantation is about 250 years old and they are considered an ECO Hotel. They grow lots of different types of fruits and vegetables that they use in their onsite restaurant to cook.

The food is very good and tasty. While staying there you will see the owners who will make the effort to come up and personally greet you. The hotel also offers a very generous complimentary breakfast with eggs cooked your way, fresh baked breads and cakes, bacon, fresh fruit, pan cakes, french toast, juices, coffee, local dishes and much more..

Last but not least we must say that what stood out the MOST was upon the last day of our stay my husband came down with a sinus infection and we had to fly back to the US the next day. We spoke to one of the employees who immediately went to the hotel Manager and she immediately had their grounds driver Denis personally take us to the doctor in town. He was very courteous and walked us right up the the town physician and then waited for us to finish. Then took us to the pharmacy and got our meds. We were so touched by their kindness. No extra charges. Then the next day we were supposed to check out by 11am but they allowed us to stay in the room since no one booked it for that day so my husband could rest until the taxi came for us to go to the airport.

We give high marks for their service and kindness. Their prices are very reasonable as well. We had a wonderful stay!

To do while in St Lucia. Nice walk up with a view on the Pitons and cool garden. Although, if you wish to learn about cacao, it's not the right place. This is more about fruits, plants and gardens.

Enjoyed our stay. The food was good and staff mostly friendly and helpful. Cottages, with the plunge pool, set against the hillside were spectacular. Tour of the plantation and views well worth the effort. Spa treatments needed a little more effort.
