Immaculately preserved 80s hotel! spacious, functional and clutter-free. the 80s nostalgia is strong within this one!
Pros:
1. clean.spotless clean. very cosy room and spaces.
2. the standard room is quite large, comes with sofasvery hard to find such big rooms in this price. bathroom is spacious too
3. adorned with large windows, the room receives a lot natural light. we slept with the windows open. we slept deep!
4. i loved the pillows and sheets, very soft and comfy.
5. the staff are spectacularly friendly and efficient!
Cons:
1. no curtain in the shower. Water spills on the floor.
2. breakfast options were limited (and that's putting it politely).
Despite the shortcomings, I won't be complaining; the price is a bargain!
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. In the heart of Beirut, if a neighborhood is quiet, it means it's not that easy to get to by car. Search for Pharmacy Alexander for more accurate direction in maps.
Peaceful surroundings,very good breakfast,
Nice staff, zeny is my fav
👍
Good hotel if you dont don't want something too fancy. Suitable for people on business trips to the country. Rooms are getting a little old and could use a renovation. Didn't try the restaurant but heard from other guests it was fine. Parking is available on the premise underground and in front of the hotel
Nice famous hotel in Achrafieh area
Very calm hotel! Clean, friendly employees! Great location!! I enjoyed my stay!!
It's a great hotel in a beautiful area and a great view from the windows
My wife traveled to Beirut with her friend for Medical treatment. They stayed in the Alexandre Hotel. It was their first time in the country and obviously nervous. All the staff made them feel very welcome and helped in any way they could.
Location was good, price for room and board very good. So thanks to everyone at the Alexandre for making things just a little easier on my wife.
Very basic hotel room.
This is quite a good casual hotel to stay at. Been there 6 years ago and they had wifi back then . So I am pretty sure that many things had upgrade.
Good location for tourists
Consider it a B&B
It is a renovated hotel that's been around for a long time. The price is right, the location is ideal - in Achrafieh - and the breakfast buffet is "Yummy". I recommend it, and will use it again.
Small standard room. The shower room had what looked like pubic hair all over the wall. The elevator kept on getting stuck in between floors, and when I told the reception they said "well its not our fault." The reception person miscalculated my rates, and when i asked him to change it to the correct amount - he looked very annoyed. He also did not give me change for the money I paid.
Lovely hotel, clean. Rooms are spacious, friendly staff but the hotel is getting a bit old.
Nice place in ashrafie Beirut, very near ABC mall good food but less options lots of cheeses
Good hotel. It became a landmark in Achrafieh
Very good place. My first stay in Lebabon in 1999.
This is centrally located 7 mins walk to Cessine Sq. The breakfast in the morning is average. But the rooms are clean (even though they look worn out). Ask for a room on the higher floors to enjoy a view.
