Good place, but overpriced for this service and quality.
Pros:
- private rooms.
- a lot of light.
- good view.
- clean.
- friendly staff.
- no aircon.
Cons:
- just no service at all. Everyone friendly but that's it.
- very noisy: walls are not soundproof at all.
- territory is not private. Some locals can hangout from time to time.
Feels like a very good foundation for the business. But managed in a very Laos way.response / report this review -

Clean room facing Nam Ou river, away from main street but walk-able. Quiet surrounding. Local morning market just 5 min walk away from the guesthouse which is a plus point.

We were given a room at the ground floor with balcony overlooking river. Double bed room with basic necessities, room was clean and toilet equipped with hot shower. Balcony was a great place for star gazing at night too. Cleanliness of toilet is to be improved.

Nam Ou Riverに面した小さなゲストハウス。
オーナーは橋の近くでツアー会社も営むMr.Mang。
場所は学校の横から細道を入った突き当り。
橋から１０分程度の距離。
部屋は１０室程度。
フロントには愛想の良いおじさんがいて、清掃のおばさんも笑顔で応えてくれる。
部屋は清潔で日もよく入り気持ちいい。
シャワーを使うとトイレまで濡れてしまうが、ラオスの一般的な作りだ。
廊下兼用のデッキからの眺めが素晴らしい。
夜には満天の星空が現れる。
エアコンはないが宿泊した１０月中旬では必要なかった。
蚊もいたがそれほど気にならない。
２泊の予定だったが結局５泊した。
初日だけAgodaで予約したが直接Mr.Mangに交渉した方が安くなる。
食事は近くにも食堂があるし、Coco Home Bar & Restaurantまで歩いても１０分程度。
人通りもあるので気にならない。
またMr.Mangはあなたを見つけて声を掛けてくるだろう。
現地ツアーやミニバンの手配などを頼める。
一人でもカップルでもお薦めの宿です。response / report this review -

We had a really nice stay for three nights here and a tremendous view over the river and the landscape of Nong Khiaw. Rooms were big and clean. I loved the balcony!!

The location makes this place, the river view is amazing. Rooms are very basic with mosquito net, fan and private bathroom. There were quite a few bugs but being surrounded by forest this is inevitable, and they seemed to move out during our stay. It was very quiet and we didn't really get noise from the schools behind.
Breakfast isn't always available so best to book it the day before.
We payed a walk in price of 80k kip per night (end of May), but know it was a bit more to pre-book online.
Nice to be a bit out of the main guest house area, amongst local families and a couple of restaurants.response / report this review -

Superbe vue depuis le balcon !
Situation parfaite, à l'écart de la zone où se trouvent toutes les guesthouses pour plus de tranquillité et un peu plus d'ambiance locale.
Le petit déj sur le balcon avec vue sur la montagne est un moment parfait.
Grande chambre, confortable.

조용하고 주인이 활발해요. 덕분에 얼떨결에 보트 투어랑 돌아가는 버스도 여기서 예약 ㅋㅋㅋ

Amazing place for the price.
Outside of the main guesthouse area, but you get amazing views on the river from the balcony of your room.
The room is as clean and comfortable as anywhere else in town (within the same price range).
WiFi connection is as bad as anywhere else ;- ))

Simple room. Good place for the price. Location is nice if you want something a little quieter off the main strip. Close to boat place.
