Dirty, đuddy approach, cold andunpleasant room, toilet disaster, internet inaccessible,card payment impossible, Impression, very bad.

We stayed there for a couple of nights, the room was generally well kept, but since it's a type of hut, animals can get in easy. We had a few bug spiders and of course geckos inside. The bathroom was clean, but the temperature control and pressure control of the water in the shower was quite uneasy in our bungalow. The view was really good though, and you couldn't be any nearer to the river than in those bungalows. The owner spoke good English and French by the way and the food was also good. Although it might take a while to get your order if they don't have all the ingredients at hand.

Old bungalow but very nice viewing of river.
If you find a quiet resting place, ban lao sunset will be a good choice.
but you want clean and convenient facilities, you will be disappointed.response / report this review -

Review for the bar, as we didn't stay there. We just stopped for Lao sweet ice coffee and it was delicious. The views are worth the stop, and the owner - fluent in English and French - is very friendly and helpful.

barato, y cabañas grandes para lo que venimos acostumbradas, camas muy cómodas, con sus insectos, eso sí, que las paredes son de bambú, pero sin dramas. la vista al río preciosa!

Arrived there just after Pi Mai so got the low season rate (80000 kips for 2 people in a triple room/bungalow). We had heard good things about this place (a very friendly owner among other things) and we were a bit disappointed. The place was deserted most of the time (no staff at all), some members of staff were fairly rude and made no efforts to be helpful, and no cleaning was made/offered during the 6 days we spent there. The bungalow looked reasonably good and the bed was really comfortable though.

Very poorly maintained rooms. Filthy bathrooms. Go to Meexai next door for the same price but modern and well maintained rooms!!
