Nice staff and location. I was very happy with my stay in one of the bungalows. Good breakfast (not included). Only bad thing was the electricity. There were only 3 outlets (on the same spot) and when you turned on the light it would often sparkle somewhere behind the switch

The most incredible view of the town, clean and cozy bedrooms, very good breakfast at reasonable price and the best balcony with hammocks makes you staying super nice

Were very lucky to have got a room here as both booking sites said no availability. I phoned over to check and very kindly was told that they would hold a room for us, when we arrived there was no problem at all and we got a room on the upper floor, which may be the better of the two floors as it has more view.

The rooms are very big and therefore they maintain a cool temperature throughout the day. The balcony is a nice place to sit and look out and the view, despite having a building in front there is still a nice view.

You are able to hear what's going on in the room next to you as it's so quiet and then in morning you'll hear the Cockerels waking up EARLY.

Owner was very friendly and as I said very helpful in accommodating us.

Breakfast of fruit and yoghurt was good but it's not included.

Other places may well have a better view of the river but I doubt they'll be as spotlessly clean.

1,00,000kip for a double room, rooms are nice , clean and tidy with generous space, attached bathrooms with hot water, owner & staff are very friendly and always smiling , food is good toobut no river view for all rooms.

Friendly staff, the young owner speaks English and smiles alot, good price for value, big rooms (when on the upper two floors), the rooms in the basement are kinda small. Ask for room 5 or 15 for the best view from the balcony. Beds only come with a blanket but if you ask for it you'll get a sheet.

There is no privacy and for this price (11€) you can find river view bangalows so easily. Just dont book in advance in Nong Khaw and look for better guesthouses. The view is blocked by other guest housee anyway. Oh and Wifi sucks big time.

Good location, friendly owners and staff! Rooms are affordable, clean and comfortable with hot water and clean towels. They have a laundry service also.

The rooms are pretty clean, although you get only a single blanket and there's no AC (though it's very well ventilated). The staff is quite friendly. One could do worse in Nong Khiaw. Booking online is definitely more expensive, but is convenient.

Well priced twins and doubles, especially if you can split the room, clean and nice western bathrooms with good hot water shower. Nice staff, will happily add a made up mattress if traveling as a trio.

Cleanest spot in Nong Khiaw without a doubt. The staff is fantastic. Really strong WiFi for Laos standards. Price is 60,000 kip which is a steal for what you get. Get the top floor rooms, they seem a little nicer and better view and better chairs. Order their eggplant dip with sticky rice.

I would love to rate this place 5 stars they have huge rooms, relatively clean, Great views in the end rooms. Amazing room service and the food is great. For the price (60k kip/ night) it's 5 star or more but if you paid online at $20 per night it would be more of a 3.

Things I would change. Give us a top sheet, the blankets dont get cleaned between guests and it's gross. They don't clean your room ever so for longer stays it gets gross.

Super spacious and clean rooms. Very cool/breezy and quiet. Upstairs rooms on the end have a nice view of the river. Lovely owner.

Pro: Spacious and the location is very good

Con: Light food poisoning after having its lunch (probably not hygienic or I haven't get use to it), no housekeeping, some staff can't really speak english and not too friendly, the view of the room provided was blocked by a new building, the door can't close silently and we keep hearing door slamming noise and it's a bit annoying

Very good breakfast, pleasant to have it just in front of the room.
Room very wet and not comfortable. No cleaning, no clean towels. I disliked the shower.
As someone said, the laundry weight is overestimated.

Nice friendly guesthouse. Quiet location. Rooms have real toilets and hot water in shower as opposed to other guesthouses around. Wifi does not reach rooms. Breakfast not included and should be ordered the day before.
