Authentic village take some hour from Luangprabang

It's a must be if you're in the area. Appropriate for backpackers and tourists alike. Rustic but cost enough, authentic without being completely inaccessible.

A beautiful little town and area. I really enjoyed my time there. I highly recommend walking to the closet villages and also hiring a guide to take you farther in to see the other villages.

A must go place in north Laos. Just a small village, but there's something more. This is the place where you can relax yourself perfectly. I felt so good while walking around the town with smiling local people. I wish I could be here again.

A must visit if you are in north of Laos. Rural and raw with stunning views, a true Lao experience.

In essence, it's a one-street village with quite a lot of huts and restaurants catering for travelers, which make it less authentic than I supposed. But from there you can take a day trip to visit some other real nice villages around.

Nice and calm. Accessible only by boat. The walk to Ban Na was appreciated (choose the rice fields path)
