So great. The price is cheap and the location is near centre. The staffs are extremely amicable.

Don't waste your money here it's cheap for a reason. My girlfriend and I got a private room for 2 nights the pictures must have been from when they opened. The bed was as hard as a rock, the bedroom had stains and what appears to be black mold all over the top of the walls. We had to keep our bathroom door closed due to a smell coming from the pipes, the bathroom sink was falling off the wall and the bathroom was lined with mold. The staff are e
xtremely rude especially the short guy and to top everything off we are almost positive someone entered our room and went through our stuff even though the room was locked my girlfriends bag was unzipped and left open even though we had it zipped up as well my travel safe I had locked to the shower pipes so it couldn't be taken was clearly tampered with like someone had tried to get into it we know this because we had the bathroom door closed and lights .SO we came back to lights off and door wide open the only thing missing was a usb I with music on it we brought this up with staff and they said no one could have entered the room with out a key.

    DO NOT RENT HERE!

Throughout all of my travels this hostel has had the worst staff I've ever experienced. After getting in a pretty serious scooter crash and barely being able to walk through the hostel without groaning in pain, the staff showed no concern. When I asked if they had an open bottom bunk, they said no, even though there were clearly a few spots on their paperwork. I asked for a cab or tuk tuk to the hospital and they said they didn't know the number, everyone knows that hostels have a list of drivers they can contact. I also asked for ice for my leg and they replied they didnt have any, although they had a freezer. The staff is extremely rude. Two out of three bathrooms werent working and the only usable bathroom was dirty and smelt heavy of urine. I would stay as far away from this hostel if I were you.

Stayed in a double bed room here. The bed was broken and made noise. No ventilation at all. Bathrooms ok. Decent common area. Extremely unfriendly staff. Beer is cheap. Breakfast is okay. There are better places to stay in Luang Prabang. Location too is slightly away from the night market.

Room is fairly dirty and they did smell a bit.

We had to move rooms because our toilet did not flush, staff were difficult at first asking us to just use the shared toilet instead!

We came to an agreement after a while.

The free breakfast is good for a free one.

    Its in a Central location.

Had a private room. Room and bathroom smelt and looked a bit mouldy. Private rooms are near the main entrance area which can get noisy early evening and early morning. Bike hire was a bit more pricey than other places. Staff friendly enough and keen to impress.

I have to say I disagree with most reviews here (writing in June 2017). Place is clean (as much as you can expect in a hostel of this price), staff is bit weird (like turning the AC off without warning sometimes) but helpful when you need something. 5 stats because of the people you can meet here! Not to be missed

The washroom was clean and spacious enough with a nice new shower but there was a SERIOUS ant problem. My wife and I killed a bed bug this morning which is never a good sign. The beds and not the worst but they are quite hard. The ac in our room wasn't working so we were discounted 20,000kip. Breakfast is included but all in all this place isn't worth it. There's several places on the same street with a better deal look around.

Everything is clean, there are plenty of bathrooms, good wi-fi. The beds sit on a sheet of metal so they make noise when you move, the staff isn't very friendly or helpful.

A really good hostel in a fairly convenient location for enjoying Luang Prabang. Dorm rooms are very small but privates are good. Bathrooms could be cleaner but are overall fine. A decent breakfast is included each morning.
