Underground parking good.

Second event to attend on 2nd floor Main Hall this year.

Reception area seems bit small for a major event. Some of the guests overflowed to the restaurant area.

Each of 5 course Gala Menu was very good. Many servers on floor synchronized with speed.

Nice modern decoration and clean. Quality of food serving and service here need to be improved to Crowne Plaza average standard. During my first dinner here, I observed that staff workload distribution at the Mosaic restaurant was not well managed. Quality and varity of food were must bellow advertisement.

Today (25Nov2017) I'm visiting Mosaic restaurant. Food quality and taste have improved. Staff are very helpful and very kind.

Nice and friendly staff. Big spacious rooms. Infinity pool and bug buffet are amazing. Sauna and jacuzzi pool also help you relax. Value for money.

This hotel's staff understand what it means to be hospitable. They are very accommodating and ensure that my needs are met. I've enjoyed the food and the massage was perfect. The ambience is great, but there are a few things that can be improved, namely attention to details in housekeeping, and not all staff acknowledges the guest when they enter the foyer.

So, I arrived with no booking and an emotional mess, teary and ready to fall apart at the first thing to go wrong after saying goodbye to my son here in Vientiane. The staff at the front desk were exceptional and eager to get me booked in and comfortable. I was asked for my passport to discover that I hadn't received it back from the hire agency when I dropped the car back off. Not a problem to the Team. They called the agent and made arrangements for him to bring it to the Crown Plaza at 7:00pm. They got me checked in and said they'd let me know when my passport arrived. Shortly after 7:00pm, I hadn't heard anything yet so called down to reception. Melanie advised she'd call the guy and get back to me. A few minutes later, Melanie called and advised that the agent wasn't able to bring it due to a staff shortage. Melanie said, "not a problem, I will go there myself, after my shift and return it by courier to the Crown Plaza". (That was in her own time). Exceptional service. My passport was at the front desk in the morning.

The room was very comfortable. I was given an introduction of the room when first taken up there. Lots of useful resources, i.e., shoe polish, dressing gowns, slippers, tooth brushes, razor, ear buds, sewing kit, torch and all the other usuals. Various country plug adaptors are available on request. It would have been good to have had a more thorough explanation of how the lights work. Figured it out in the end but it was one click for that light, two clicks for that, that puts them all off, all on is that one You get the picture.

Shower had two shower heads and a massive tub. For the shower heads, there was one blasting from the ceiling and a removable one. Towels were plentiful and HUGE these are the things that are important to me 😁. There was a knob in the bathroom with blasts out whatever you have playing on the TV.

There was a personalized "Welcome" on the TV screen for the period. Stationary and very comfy desk chair. TV stations were good. CNN and UK news channel These are things that are important to me 😁.

Bed was very comfy however, pillows were horrible. There is a card which states that you just need to call housekeeping to get any number of variations of pillows of your choice however, by the time I got into bed, it was after 11:00pm and felt it was too late to be calling. The floor was quiet. No disturbances however, when there are people talking in the hall way, it sounds loud. There were no disturbances during the night though. There was a spray for the room to promote good sleep. I used it, just sprayed around the bed a bit. I only woke up the usual number of times during the night so not sure if it was useful or not.

I arranged a late check out due to flying after 4:00pm. They obliged me on that, no issues. I went down in the morning to have a swim at the pool and was invited to discussion with Gregory, the Hotel English Teacher, who's Kiwi. Really nice guy; wanted some feedback on staff's English in the hotel. So far, it had all been really good. New barman at the Splash pool bar was just learning the job, and English, and Gregory was very helpful, assisting us both communicate. Towels were available at the pool bar and there were free foot massages, pool side. Awesome!! Gregory organised for Kim to come give me my complimentary foot massage. Thank you Kim. Great job! The floor was very slipper with wet feet around the bar and the toilet. I slipped and smashed my toe. I did give the English speaking barman feedback and also wrote it in the feedback form in the room. They need warning signs up or some non-slip matting around.

Breakfast was out of this world. The decor was beautiful in the Mosaic and there was a huge range of food. All the Laos food was available and Western too. Ate way too much 😁. Thoroughly enjoyed the individualised service. Exceptional.

Very nicely decorated. Very good first impression. Rare high standards in Laos, my only complaints were the food. Just lacking in quantity for price, slow services for large parties. Cold food and flavors aren't pronounced.
