We went here for drinks a couple of times and then finally stayed for dinner -- the pizza was good!
It started as a training nonprofit, and the servers are lovely and working hard on their English and hospitality skills. They've written up very nice English guidebooks (look under some of the tables) with tips for things to do in town. When the wifi is working it's fast (for here), and they offer free water bottle refills upstairs.
All in all a comfortable and friendly spot, with good food and a nice vibe.response / report this review -

Found little nook whilst having a quiet few days recovering foot injury, lovely little chill out with for those seeking some tasty western food. the breakfast burrito though so good! Will be back again for this alone

Great food and a sustainable way of thinking. They don't offer plastic, instead they give you straws made out of bamboo.

Spot this place by coincidence and its worth visiting for dining. I adore the staffs as they are so happy working and treat each others well. The smile in their face makes customer feel comfy. The food was awesome and the credit should go to the owner because apart from doing business they do social contribution. Will definitely suggest this place to friend

Really awesome place serving up great food at a good price with a good atmosphere while doing amazing work for the community at the same time. You will enjoy eating here while at the same time contributing to the community. Do it! Well done Andrej and Karen, I didn't get to meet you but making Kiwis proud.
