This felt like a tourist trap. We started our first day in Vientiane here since it was recommended on the Lonely Planet but were quite disappointed. The pastries were below average quality (croissants didn't taste at all like how the dough should be) and there was no sense of the local life (on their wall they had random photos of people kissing!)
I don't recommend this place. There are many more unique cafes in town

Great spot for a change from the Laotian food and a taste of France! I was skeptical of the prices, particularly for an actual lunch, but it was well worth it! The all-butter croissant was very light, and the roast beef sandwich was exactly what I needed after a tough few days. It was so nice to have real Dijon mustard and the hearty pieces of beef again!

TRAVELERS BEWARE!
I ate here because it looks very quaint, and had other travelers sitting outside. However, when I paid the cashier, she did a bit of unusual sleight-of-hand, and kept an extra dollar. When I told her the change was incorrect, she became loudly argumentative, so I just left, since I am a non-confrontational person and a single dollar is not that important to me.

I would never eat here again, and I would never recommend any of my friends or family do so either.

French bakery that is very popular for Sunday Brunch. Good service even though quite crowded. Nice menu selection and many choices from the bakery. Good place to spend a weekend morning.

We visited in early afternoon. There were still plenty of croissants. They were crunchy on the outside but softness inside wasn't quite there. Maybe you need to eat it fresh rather than after it sat for a few hours.

A classic French style bakery in the heart of Vientiane. I just had an iced coffee with a pudding bakery. You can also buy sliced meat for putting on a sandwich here.

This place is fine, I went there to take a breakfast. 19 000kip for scrambled eggs and they give you bread with it. Tasting good but I'm still looking for a good place to have healthy breakfast in Vientiane.

It was 8:30am a Thursday and the place was busy.

We had a club sandwich and a quiche, both were not very good. Staff was unmotivated. There are better cafés in Vientiane.

Nice place managed by french good for breakfast and lunch. Price bit high, bread very good. They deliver bakery all around Vientiane, particularly french coffea shops and restaurants

Nice French bakery with AC. We came after lunch time and it was very quiet.
We only ordered coffee here and it wasn't anything special. The price of the coffee was reasonable though.

Tourist trap. The Croissant was mediocre at best and didnt feel fresh. I'm pretty sure the passion fruit juice came out of a can.

They have nice interior though.

This is a nice french cafe. They have good in house breads and there coffee is nice and strong. Prices are very reasonable too!
