It has a stylish, upmarket vibe, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, and the staff bend over backwards to make sure you have the best experience. Food, cocktails, and wine were all excellent - would highly recommend the duck and whole fish mains! For more information and guides to Luang Prabang, check out my website!

Great food, great atmosphere. Romantic setting.
Must try the duck, buffalo and the river steamed fish. We had all 3 and were very full afterwards but well worth it.
Might need to book ahead as it gets busy in there. All you need to to email or call. They will even pick you up if you know where you're going to stay while there.

Went for lunch last week and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Great ambience. The waiters and waitresses were attentive and friendly. But when it comes to quality of the food, I personally think it can improve. I ordered fish ha mok (or something similar to that spelling) and it tasted a little bland. Homemade ice-cream didn’t have any wow factors for the price it charges. Though I didn’t really like the food but I was glade I went because of the nice display and good service.

Beautiful setting. Service a bit patchy - had to ask for a menu after waiting for 5 minutes and saw the same with another table. There are some vegetarian options. I chose the vegetarian stew, which was more of a herby soup than a stew. Maybe that's my ignorance of Laos cuisine. Didn't really enjoy it.

Great setting by the lily pond and the crispy rice salad was such an amazing invite to Laotian cuisine (this was our first meal of the trip)! Would have wanted to try the duck but it was not available when we were there. Coconut creme brûlée was served warm - not quite your typical texture but certainly interesting.

The ambience simply can’t be beat; however the food was a bit overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend the Mekong River fish but the rest of our meal was nice. There are also a fair amount of mosquitos, bugs, and spiders given the pond setting.

Very nice restaurant. Wonderful scenery . Very good starters and desserts. Main courses could have less dill. One big problem, the restaurant is not linked with the hotel at the same place, obliged to go and search for money because they could not put it on the room bill. To be changed because it’s not practical at all!

Great ambiance. Great story behind the owner of the restaurant. Great food experience. Bring a jacket in the evening it gets slightly chilly. One of the top restaurant in town.

    Beautiful environment,
    Wonderful customer service,
    Clean and cozy,
    Clean toilet,
    Good food,
    Returns wrong order,
Overall has one of the best service/quality,
    But sadly, the place is:

A very beautiful location and a great spot for a photo opitunity. We are vegan and the food selection wasn't great but we found options. It's definitely worth a visit for atleast a evening drink as it beautifully lit.

If you are in just for a drink the only area available is right next to the entrance at a shared uncomfortable table. A shame really, considering that cocktails are particularly good value for any restaurant, and therefore patrons should have equal access to the lake seating area.

What a one of a kind restaurant! The whole thing sits atop 3 ponds that are a Unesco World Heritage Site! It has a very cool and relaxing vibe, with some tables having couchs and day beds as seats! The food is a little on the pricey side, but if you are looking to celebrate or splurge, this is the place to do it!

Very nice restaurant. The food is expensive for Laos, but the food is fantastic. Make it a date night with a seat at the lotus pond.

Great food. Best I had in Luang Prabang. Beautiful setting. A little expensive compared to others in town but worth it. You won't regret going. The chicken wing appetizer was excellent, pork ribs were outstanding, but my favorite was the rice pudding. It is served with six condiments. Amazing.

Absolutely star-struck after a remarkable dinner next to the beautiful lotus ponds. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere magical, and the food and cocktails were completely five star in every way. The spare ribs were specifically noteworthy. This experience will stay with us for a long time.

The most stunning restaurant I've been to in my life. Wow.
Good idea to make a reservation to sit by the water, but truly anywhere you sit is a treat.
The drinks are lovely. The food is well balanced and tasty. Watch out for peppers in the vegetarian stew! Easy to find things on the menu that are not spicy as well.

A totally magical and unexpected surprise! Had dinner and the food was great. Service was outstanding. While priced higher than most restaurants in the area, the ambience of the outdoor dining in the evening, food, and the overall dining experience are well worth it. A great romantic 'date night' restaurant.
