Hidden treasure, very authentic place and set up
It's a good place to stay. Staff is also friendly.
It was lovely stay, best part is buffet breakfast.
The staff is so warming and food is to the highest quality.
Recommended for all indians and asians.
Good thing about this hotel is it's old but very well maintained.
Excellent service/ excellent food/ reasonable prices.
And As im chef so to check on hygiene/ quality and taste it's all perfect.
Good ramadan buffet at Al Dallah tent.
Well with in the main city area and has good lists of features. Food is good.
This was earlier the Swiss hotel .
A well designed lobby area .
Frequented by guest including diplomats , NAFO , GCC association meet points .
Was staying at the hotel as I was facilitating a training program for NAFO here .
The stay was pleasant and very well co-ordinated..The food was great hospitality unquestionable ..The staff from Alwar at the Lobby , Victor at Housekeeping and Satish at the service end who escorted us to the room and also guided me to the closeby shopping area ..Ragab in the lift are was always courteous no matter what time of the day ever smiling , Marjorie at the Le Cafe who served us was single handedly managing the Le Cafe two evenings ago was very courteous.
Very good hotel to stay. Room are very spacious.
Good hotel at a good location
Nice place n very good service
Nice hotel for business trips. I had stayed there for 12 days. Great location (very close to the bank street), with lot of places for eating out around the hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly.
Room rates are not expensive and they include breakfast with the room rent. A good spread of English and Indian varieties.
Nice clean, well maintained rooms. Every room Includes a small refrigerator and tea kettle. The hotel also had a gym and separate coffee shop/smoking room inside the hotel. They also have separate smoking and noon smoking guest rooms.
If informed in advance, the hotel also provided a free pickup and airport drop.
For business travellers, you can find a laundry opposite the hotel which is way cheaper than the hotel. Also opposite to the hotel you will find couple of grocery stores where you can get water, tea, coffee and fruits.
Same hotel from long time.
Nice design and having good restaurants and cafes
Satisfatorygood customer service
Very nice room and helpful staff
Buffet was amazing in last Ramadan
nice building, very old rooms, the food is below the average
They have very bad services and small rooms they dont have a free park becide the hotel
Very good. Not a five star hotel though
- We arrived at night to check in for only one night, there were so many people waiting for the reception and there was only one lady to serve. Congratulations, you just archived a new record in the longest duration and process for hotel check in.
- An issue in my booking required long discussion with the hotel manager as he was asking for 10KWD and he didn't want to cancel my booking.
- The hotel Manager "Ashraf" was super unfriendly and rude in dealing with his customers. Specially when her said we are monitoring what you are doing through our cameras!!
- The hotel has two slow elevators which you need to account for to not waste your time.
- There was no car parking for the hotel, but you can park your car in a risky basement 2 for the mall near the hotel with a cost of 250 fills for the first hour and adds up for each additional hour.
- The rooms corridor was smelly and poorly lit.
- The towels and bath rope (not to mention that I had to request them from the reception) were of bad quality, smelly, very old, and have signs of heavy previous use and dirt
- There was no coffee/ tea maker as described in the website and not even an instant black coffee in the room except something like 2 in 1 coffee (This is a personal preference and may not necessarily count as negative point, but it is good to tell)
- Wireless internet connection was slow and barely reach 2 MB
- The breakfast was reasonably acceptable compared to the miss situation of this hotel, however it is below average compared to other 4 star hotels.
- And finally congratulations again on the highest record in check out duration and processing.
However, I liked the following:
- The slippers after you ask for them.
- A complimentary bottle of water and two tea bags!!
- Room is relatively big
Nice staff. Satisfactory room, although a bit worn and rather dark. An unremarkable place, but central. Note that it is changing names: it's now called Inn & Go.
