I went to the restaurant on the ninth floor, it was just okay. Selection was fine, meats and chicken and single fish dish. Sweets were various and delicious though. Small space, myself and two others were given a single table, probably 1 meter by 1 meter. Staff were not active in picking up the dishes, forcing me to take action and taking my dirty plate placing it on the side to make space on our small table. Which makes the resultant look dirty.

Darbar at Kuwait Continental is an experience in itself
The Open Buffet on Weekends is good
The menu selection is fine.
All can enjoy the dishes.children to old all enjoy.
The fish preparation is excellent.
The chicken biriyani is one of the best.

It's one of the oldest hotel in Kuwait. I must say that they have budgeted accommodation and very affordable. Though a double bedrooms are slightly smaller but fair enough comparing the price. They have lovely Indian restaurant on 9th floor, food is amazing. The main drawback is staff, hospitality industry require humbleness and attention, all these lacks here. So not giving five stars. Also the internal ambience needs to be upgraded, its very old and looks pathetic. They have SPA as well but comparing hotel it's little expensive. Although they are in the Prime location-based, this gives them tremendous advantages.

For a 1 night business trip maybe this hotel would be good. The room has been renovated but the bathroom are still old.
Reception lady when i arrived and gent on my last day were not very friendly. There is not much option for food. If you like Indian food or the smell of curry while having breakfast that will be okay for you. They do not have any other coffee except for granulated coffee in a bowl served with a plastic spoonthis hotel must catch up with Kuwait fast moving coffee nationIf you don't like anything I have said above you might want to get prepared to ask for a taxi to go outside to the nearest mall for a coffee if this was a company provided accommodationyikes!!!.now remember everything opens after 9am in Kuwait

Service is good. For a dual bad, tv, attach washroom, tiny fridge, tiny locker in the Almira have this room cost me 22 KD daily.

Old but renovated property. Clean and comfortable. Best suited for business travellers who look for sponsor to obtain entry visa. Hotel provides it at a very reasobable 3nte/4days package price. It includes airport transfers (saves 10% cost) and breakfast. Value for money.

Excellent room and conditions. My only suggestion is that every room should have automatic room key card wall slots. Is will save you thousands of kwd in a single month. Smart management is very important
