Nice hotel, still ok and modern but room design in main tower is a little bit dated. Attached shopping mall is nice and good location in city center!

You can choose here if you want to stay in the center of Seoul, big and good 5 star hotel,
The employees have good attitudes and service minds.
    So little expensive.

Wow what a pleasant surprise. Say have everything and then some. So beautiful. If you can spend a little more and get club level access absolutely do it.

This is by far my most favorite hotel I’ve ever been in, yes the rooms might be a tad small but the service makes it worth staying here. The staff members are the best you could find, they are always willing to help and you never see them without a smile on their face which makes the hotel even more welcoming than it already is. I would definitely recommend you coming even if it was on short notice (I booked my hotel a day before coming and I had absolutely no problems when doing so.) You wouldn’t regret it, I promise!

We stayed in this hotel during our last trip to Seoul. It's a very clean and comfortable hotel. One minor for us was breakfast. It was included in our stay, but in my opinion, I'd rather pay for a good breakfast.

The hotel was located near one of the subways, but you still had to walk 15 minutes underground to reach the nearest metro. Just make sure to include this in your timing schedule.

Stayed here many times over the last 7-8 years. Always great. Staff have always been impeccable. Spotless rooms. Even when we arrived into town in the morning they obliged us with our room early. The last few times we’ve taken rooms with access to the club room. Whilst not the biggest and best selection compared to some of the other hotels I’ve been to in Asia it’s not bad and is a great place to just relax and enjoy the city view.

Best hotel in Seoul. Beautiful hotel in excellent shopping area. Easily accessible via city bus 6701 from Incheon airport. Rooms are large and comfortable. Hotel has large shopping in basement and access to subway. Also has driving range, pool, and spa. Loved it so much I made another reservation right away. Five stars. Staff is very friendly and English is excellent. Rooms include international outlets and touch screen controls for all lights. Breakfast is international with many tasty choices. Shopping underground includes connections to entire block: Lotte dept stores, AvenueL, and Young Plaza. Hop outside for street food in walking only area

I visited the hotel solely to attend a conference reception held in the second floor ballroom. The quantity, quality and variety of the food was good, though I don't know the details of its catering. One odd thing was for whatever reason most of the buffet plates were not stacked at the beginning of the buffet but under the buffet tables further down which caused a little confusion but was not overly problematic. The wine served was acceptable but not remarkable. The acoustics were good, it did not become overly loud despite being full. There were no AV problems. When leaving I noticed there was a nice darkly lit and classy bar with artificial waterfalls and a piano. I was told by a fellow guest who had gone their for drinks that it was nice and often had live music but that the drinks were particularly expensive.

Amazing service and very clean hotel, but the room was too hot.. The AC was not working properly. They tried adding a fan in the room.. But didn't quite cut it.. Also the fridge was warm.. It was really difficult placing my medicine there.. Other than that.. Everything was good

Very nice hotel. Workers spoke excellent English. Nice breakfasts. They even have a Women's floor (you must have your room key to select a floor and 1 floor is exclusively for women). The hotel is connected to an underground mall and is very close to city hall. Another plus about this hotel is they had a feature phone that you could pay a small fee (like 3500 won) to use each day-- really useful when your American cell phone doesn't work in Korea.

Classy, Although Very Conservative, But Don't Pay for Club Suites
The club suite with king bed that I booked was classy and relatively spacious; well appointed and clean. The main reason I went with a club suite was the included breakfast: it made the price quite a bit more expensive, and the buffet breakfast was by far not worth it (I heard the restaurant is good, albeit overpriced; this was at the club on the 32nd or so floor); not bad, but limited choices.
I preferred the Grand Hyatt in Itaewon, and will try the JW Marriott Dongdaemun next, but the Lotte Hotel is obviously located in a prime Myeongdong location.

Update: tried all of these since then and more, and my favorite is without any hesitation the Plaza at the City Hall, just steps from this Lotte.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Seoul. If you want to be in the middle of the action and a subway stop feet from your hotel this is for you.

We've been here from the 27th of Sep to the 4th of Oct, and we had our child with us (3 y.o.). The attention to the customer is over the top. The support in rainy day was amazing, providing big umbrellas to anyone asking for it. It's inside a building, and there is a big mall as well. This hotel seems to have any service, needed or not: top restaurants, top boutiques, top service, luxury interiors, cozy but elegant rooms.. And least but not last: it's right in the middle of the downtown, so what else?
