I was supposed to stay only for a couple days, but I ended up extending my stay. The staff is really nice, the location is really good, close to traditional places and lots of food.
The guest house is really nice, I recommend it ^^
I love that the staff is always friendly and nice to be around, it's very easy to meet new people and make friends!
They have different houses very close from eachother so you will always find a room that suits your necessities.
Will come back if I ever go back to Seoul :)
Depends on the house you are in, dorm is is kind of lways open door to the cramped common room not cosy place and 50% locals. The second building is more cose if you are couple as there are onky 2 bed rooms, which sometimes are used as share room. Mr Bong at least is trying to make the place more bearable and is byuing some beer and rice wine once in a while. The hostel is not in near vicinity to the atractions but within bearable walking distance, especialli close to the Naksa park and the village. The best of the location is Lotte 999w just accross the street, the only reasonable food shop in Seoul, if you don't have it your food bufget will be 50% - 100% higher.Seoul doesn't have real supermarket system developed.
Nice and clean, friendly staffs and even the owner greets us warmly. There are 2 different building that close to each other, but the breakfast only on the main building so you have to go to another building to get your breakfast if you live on the 2nd building. The facilities are great, but maybe kinda confusing because they only use Korean. the location also very great, many stores near it and even the convenience store is next to the 2nd building. very close to Hyehwa Station and the bus stop (I forgot the name of the bus stop). Great place with great deals. highly recommended 👍
Eh. good cost, prime location. but the facilities could definitely use some more cleaning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice first stop in S. Korea.
I had a lovely time during my stay here at Bong House. The room was clean and breakfast was also served. There was no curfew so it didn't matter that I spent the night out exploring the nightlife of Seoul.
The receptionist was nice and very fluent in English. The room and bathroom are clean and neat. The kitchen was available at most times and breakfast was simple yet adequate.
Comfy beds and one of the cheapest prices in Seoul, I paid 10,000won a night. The location aint too bad and is next to subway Station
Friendly and helpful staff, Very clean, serves breakfast, laundry with dryer, there is also a private bar with pool table and game room. I think it's the best hostel in Seoul. Also located in hyewha district where you can spot Korean theatre actors and watch Korean plays.
Great location, lots of good places to eat nearby and Hyehwa station is only a 5 minute walk! A perfect place to stay if your looking for somewhere a little more peaceful in Seoul!
Very nice personnel. Mr. Bong himself is a very kind and also funny guy, who loves travelers. The house itself is divided into several sections and every room is different while all being quite nice
