I was really disapointed to book this section of hotel. Sokhalay has 3 or 4 differents buildings. Sokhalay Angkor Inn is not a 5 stars hotel, not even 4 as they rated.
It is completely another hotel within Sokhalay property. Rooms are tiny, picture shown online is not what it really is. We drive almost 1 hour trying to find this Sokhalay Angkor inn. Even we had already stay at Sokhalay hotel before, we never think that we book the same hotel. We have to go to main building by car to check in. We ask to stay at main building, but we were told that it is fully booked. However, they still sell online. Finally they find us a room, but want to charge us same price as they sell online at that moment. They comsider as walk in client. Even we already have prior arrival.
New room is ok, even it is not the same room as last year. But it s acceptable. However internet is out of reach of their router. We have to stay close to entry door to be able have wifi signal.
My advise to all traveler. Never book Sokhalay Angkor Inn unless you are a bagpacker traveler.response / report this review -
