Rosy Guest House is sort of an institution in Siem Reap, I have actually gone there at least once on every trip I make to Siem Reap and it is one of the only places in Siem Reap that I have known for such a long period of time but still no-one seems to know me. Not that I am complaining because some of the barflies that I have seen in these places are not exactly people I want to make friends with. There have been quite few management changes and even renovations over the years but somehow this place always maintains this same level of quaint shabbiness that is somehow appealing. Breakfast is pretty good but I don't eat Western Breakfast very often, preferring to have some sort of rice soup for breakfast. If you are looking for a British style breakfast, this is the place.
The staff at this establishment are so friendly and welcoming! There is one particular lady (i wish i knew her name) who was so accommodating.
we booked a budget double room which has a fan tv and double bed. it is very small but its what you pay for. it was clean and comfortable. there is a shared bathroom which was again clean.
they have dvd players in every room and you can borrow dvds to watch in your room for no cost. we loved that aspect. it was such a unique idea.
the restaurant prices are decent but higher than the local places. they have a huge range of foods on the menu. their fruit crumble is delicious!
Simple but satisfying fare. Generous portions.
Awesome laid back placegreat location and staff. Good pricing and quiet.
Nice cozy place, the food is good and you feel quite welcome. Didn't stay there.
Very Good kitchen, Australien style food and Khmer food, very tasty
Clearly the place for expats living in the area. The who of who having one of their breakfasts. I had the American breakfast and the pancakes looked amazing and were cooked to perfection but had a slight after taste that was a bit unpleasant. Maybe the flour is a bit different. Good selection and good coffee!
Can't speak highly enough of these guys.
Great local expat hangout. Friendly staff. Good beer, good food, pool table. Visa services available. Tickets for museums. All the good stuff.
The Staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and very warm. The bathrooms aren't so clean but for that price I think is worth it and anyway you are going to be to whole day in the city or in the temples.
I like this place because of the little playground for kids inside. A good place for cold drinks and Khmer and western food menu.
Good location, nice accommodation and a very good and friendly staff.
We also had an amazing tuktuk driver, arranged via the guesthouse
Walking distance from all the nearby tourist spots. Good rooms. Super helpful staff. There is mini library as well. Decent food.
Great place to eat pies. They have options and if you are a vegetarian they will likely do it for you.
Lovely guesthouse! The family that owns the place is so nice. The rooms are clean and tidy, the wifi is great. They have a pool table and a restaurant as well. They're located just a 10 minute walk from the busy backpacker district.
A great place with friendly owners. The traveller vibe here is terrific. There is a pool table, the rooms are well appointed and reasonably priced. The draft beers go at 1USD and the snacks are good
The place was nice enough. Room was fairly comfortable. Price wasn't rape
Nice staff, but too many mosquitoes :(
