Fairly clean but people are generally unfriendly and the food is an overcooked mash. More a group of kids maintaining shacks then any kind of bungalow resort. Expect the night sky to be constantly lit by sickly green night fishing lights.

Thorougly enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable and reasonably clean bungallows with cute geckos roaming inside, for $ 30 a night. The cuisine is great - the best lok lak and extremely tasty and inexpensive natural cocktails. Very peaceful and far away from civilisation, yet you can always charge your devices. No internet or phone connection. Be warned that the 1.7 km long path from the pier to the other side of the island is challenging: it goes up and down the steep hill. It can be covered in a half an hour. You will have to scramble dangerous rocks. Suitable shoes and plenty of water are recommended. The path starts in a different location on the beach than marked on any map. Just follow the sign just right of the pier.

We hiked from the other side, lugging our backpacks through the jungle to the serene and peaceful sunset beach. Robinson had awesome tent accommodations and wonderful staff. I hope sunset beach takes a long time to become overcrowded!

Very peaceful and quiet. Great location with friendly staff and a fantastic view of the sunset. We stayed in the 4 meter bell tent and it was more than enough space for two. Food was good and slightly on the expensive side, but no more than anywhere else on the island.
