Such a cool resort. There's a party every night and after the party ends everyone goes down to the beach and swims with the Plankton. Staff is great and so is the food.

When I stayed at the Koh Rong Samloem Mad Monkey hostel it was one of the most amazing experiences ever! Kayley, Jaz, johnny, and Robby were the most outgoing, entertaining, and caring group of people I had ever met. They made every night a party filled with games, laughes, and great memories.. well that's if you can remember anything the next day! The entire Khmer staff was so amazing they made it there constant goal to make sure everything was perfect. This is a must see destination and will remain the highlight of my entire trip!

I am totally stunned! This hostel was the best during my stay in Cambodia. I didn’t have much demands to a hostel on an island but MMB totally impressed me. The rooms are super(!) clean, the beds are totally comfy and clean and there are absolutely no animals in the shacks. The showers and restrooms are more than clean and the chilly water in the shower is perfect after a hot day. The restaurant serves super delicious food and the prices are totally acceptable.
In the evening, the bar offers service and they play music until midnight. The staff is also super friendly!
I definitely recommend going there when you are on Koh Rong Sanloem!

Where do I begin, completely secluded from other places on the island, they have hammock and swings in the sea, offer a beer as soon as you reach and prepare fresh wood fired pizzas. What more can I ask for. The best place in Cambodia according to me, would love to go back.

Stayed there for one night and saw bioluminescent planktons in the water at around 1.30 in the morning. Would have loved to stay for a couple of days more.

The hostel seems so nice and secluded when booking prior to arriving, but just a warning it is secluded and by that i mean no other place to buy food or drink, so it's a set price at the hostel bar. Slightly over priced and not amazingly big portions. Beds are comfy and we had no problems or heard of any problems with bed bugs. I was there for 2 nights and everyday was so windy we couldnt snorkel or fish. Did feel trapped in a way bit this can't be helped. The hostel had a great social scene and you'll get dragged into that because there's no internet, not even on a SIM. Stay here if the weather's going to be nice.. would be my opinion. Staff were great.

Great place to chill out during the day and party at night. If you weren't partying then could be a bit loud but all music is off by 12 when the bar closes. Staff were mostly friendly but sometimes seemed like you were bothering them when you asked for a drink etc. Always lots of activities going on in the evenings but not much during the day. Think this could be improved a bit!

Hands down the best hostel I have ever been to in my life. Right from the start, the staff make you realise this is a special place. From the drinks on arrival, to the games and activities every night to just chilling out together, every member of staff here put in so much effort to give us the best experience possible. Not only that, but somehow they have managed to create an environment where everyone is one big family; everyone is always involved and having the time of their lives. On top of that, the food and drink is well priced for an island and absolutely delicious. Any issues were sorted out immediately and with greater hospitality than I have found anywhere else. I was only supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended for 5 and would have stayed for more if I could - everyone I met did the same.

If you want one of the absolute highlights of your trip, surrounded by amazing people on your own private paradise beach, then you can't miss out on coming here. They also have big things planned; this place is going to get better and better.

Big shout out to Manuel, Ellis and Robbie. You made my stay unforgettable, I love you guys.

I wasn't really sure that I would like this place but I have to say that I really enjoyed it and made a lot of good friends as well. Definitely reccomend visit to this place. Make sure you give rabie joe some love too (the local cat) He's harmlesshonestly.

This is definitely a party hostel with a missive hookup culture. There is a bed bug problem here which doesn’t seem to be going away. Everyone in our dorm got them. Also, there isn’t a lot to do around the hostel except drink and the beach close by isn’t great. If you are looking for a nice relaxing beach and any type of stimulating conversation, then I would recommend any accommodation on sunset beach. Otherwise, if you are under 22 and just want to party and hook up stay here.

Fun place to stay, experience is great. The boat ride from Rumi Pier to the hostel, be prepared to get wet as it was docked in the waters. Should have emailed us before that though.

Everything done right. Even simple things like lots of toilet paper. All clean and tidy. The staff are amazing. They curate a friendly atmosphere leading to new friends and good times. Shout out to calum+cam+jon+jodi.legends Day time drinkin is OK
