Beautiful hotel with high value for money. We had a spacious and clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location near King’s palace, a lot of authentic Khmer street food is just across the road in the nearby park. Vast and delicious breakfast, which is served in a cosy atmosphere next to the pool as well as a rooftop bar with friendly atmosphere and nice views.

Rooms small a.c. not efficient breakfast average. Getting luggage in and out difficult as steps and also step up into lift. It's clean and functional

Great roof top bar and pool with beautiful views, and the most delicious traditional food selection from their restaurant menu. ( I recommend the red curry and coconut prawns!)

A decent room with Wifi and bathroom, close to the main sites like the palace. Nice setting for meals next to the pool eith another pool and bar upsatirs with excellent views.

The hotel is good and very well located close to most important tourist destinations. The room we had was great and right on top of the hotel overlooking the roof top. We were there for the water festival and our room had a great view of the river and all the festive buzz going around. The staff was OK at best and we had to constantly ask for water to be delivered to us. Getting drinking water was a fight. The selection for breakfast was not great. The three days we were there, we were served the exact same menu. The coffee was always served Luke warm and the hotel had no way to serve hot milk with breakfast. They always had an excuse for that.
Despite this the stay at the hotel was pleasant.response / report this review -

Both the King and it's sister hotel, the Queen Grand Boutique, are fantastic. For the money--especially booking through middle sites and during off season or slightly off season--the value is incredible. The service is 5 star with an extremely good free breakfast with both a buffet and ordered dishes including a wide range of western and Asian dishes, which is also all-you-can-eat. The restaurant in the Queen Grand is very good with reasonable prices. Pool top pools and bars in both hotels. The Queen Grand rooms are a bit bigger, but both hotels include all the amenities of a full hotel at guesthouse prices. I have been coming to Phnom Penh since 2003 and lives here for four years--the King and Queen Grand Boutique Hotels are THE best value in the city.

Service is fantastic. Food is excellent. All amenities of a full sized hotel. Beautiful pools and decor. Great room service. Rooftop pool & bar. Cannot beat it for the money--especially booking on line. The cost is actually comparable to higher priced guesthouses. With it's sister hotel next door--the Queen Grand--it might be the best spot for the value in PNH. Again, I have to mention how friendly & efficient the staff are.

Decent clean room. Good bathroom, not tiny like in say, Ho Chih Minh. Breakfast spread is ok, though vegetarian choices are limited. Courteous staff. The hotel is located near the Vietnam-Cambodia park which is a nice place for walks in the morning and evenings. Plenty of small bars and message parlours around. There's a Nepali Indian restaurant just across the road which serves delicious food.

The biggest nuisance was the shower which kept shifting and made showering vet difficult. Otherwise the hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are upto standard.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here: from the courteous and helpful staff, a swimming pool in the restaurant (!) to a great spot at the top for cocktails mixed by the very charming Prum Sovath, with yet another pool. And the room was excellent. Thank you to all the staff.

The free breakfast buffet is truly phenomenal. Location is near several local attractions and some awesome vegetarian restaurants. Independent tour guides are ready for you outside the entrance anytime. Hotel staff are extremely courteous, we never even had to open a door during our stay :) I docked a star because I feel the pictures on their listing were not truly representative, the place is much smaller than it looks in the listing.

Friendly reception staff. Clean simple rooms with nice shower very good water pressure and hot water. Ask for room in back, rooms in front are noisy. Air-conditioning works. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet includes made to order eggs, pancakes, bacon etc. Have delicious iced coffee. Two small swimming pools one on roof with bar and one beside dining room. Great location near Royal Palace.
