Very welcoming place, great service and good facilities. Staff are always willing to help and provide you with the best experience possible. Comfortable, though it helps to have the air conditioning on whenever you are in the room, because the floors seem to have problems with the cooling; they end up quite hot after a few hours.
Good place and environmental and you can see the river front and royal palace from the roof top.
We stayed a week and I would definitely stay again. The breakfast bar was tops and was included in our room rate. The room and beds were comfortable and clean. The plumbing could probably use an updating but worked fine. The elevator (only one unfortunately) took a loooonnnng time to get between floors. If you're only going a few floors it's often quicker to take the staircase, which actually was an impressive staircase where you could see from top to bottom of the 8 floor hotel.
Great location. Comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar although when hit by a storm it can be a bit open to the elements
Overpriced. $80/night . A/c have to resent every hour or room gets really hot, how do u sleep when u have to wake up every hour? Never told of free breakfast. Bath/shower has two settings - really cold or extreemly hot. No middle ground. Can find more for less in areas surrounding this hotel.
Staff was nice and helpful, like all hotels
Nice room & breakfast with friendly service. However, they forgot to charge us for laundry and we informed them upon check out, yet, it took forever for them to find out the correct amount. We lost our patience at the end, left some money that we thought would be enough. Another negative point: pool did not look clean at all in the evening to swim(it is open until 10.00 pm). Even though I am sure I put the 'service my room' sign on the door knob, room was not cleaned and I found the sign was turned over to 'do not disturb' side.
We picked this hotel because it was so highly rated on TripAdvisor and Google. It was also suggested by our AAA travel agent. It was not 4 stars.
First off, we wanted to get some laundry done being a multi location trip. We put items in the designated bag and filled out the form. In order to get it the next day we had to call by 10 AM. We first called at 9:30 and they said they would be right up. 15 min later we called again and asked if it was necessary for us to be there when they picked it up because we wanted to make it to breakfast before it closed. We confirmed we didn't need to be there. We got back to our room 8 hours later and the laundry was still there. Ended up having to do laundry in the sink.
Secondly, the wifi was terrible. There were two access points on our floor, but still weren't able to stay connected.
Next, our room wasn't cleaned until after 5pm if it was cleaned at all. The first time they came to clean when we were showering before dinner (around 6pm) and so we said they could skip us today if we could just get new towels. The next day they again came late in the day when we had come back to shower and clean up before dinner. Told them we needed ten more min so they said they would come back. We came back after 10pm from dinner and it had never been cleaned.
There were stains on the mattress and sheets. The moulding was cracked. There were spots on the wall and cobwebs in the corners. Lots of things that I wouldn't expect from a 4 star hotel.
Honestly the only perk was that the room itself was air-conditioned fairly well. And that was only when we were in the room with the key inserted in the slot.
Cozy and friendly helpful staff. Nearby to everything - Palace and museum. Internet is fast and reliable. Meals are great, and the rooftop is everything.
Skybar and restaurant review only, never stayed at hotel. Great city views from the Skybar. Nice environment. Food is pretty good but a lot is a bit overpriced. Cocktails were pretty good too. Happy hour is the best time, 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Busy place. Pool up top. Staff seemed new and nervous. Better places around
Very poor servicerooms were not as per what was booked. When we asked to be shifted to a better room it took nearly 4 hours to change into a better room though we were told it will be done in a hour.
Nice boutique hotel, close to old heart old the city. Very friendly staff. Good price, nice breakfast and roof terrace.
Nice boutique hotel to stay at. Good location to main area, all w/in walking distance. Good size rooms, with good service as well. Decent prices for rooms. Good breakfast as well.
Shower is too hot, there's no way to have a cool shower. Bed is squeaky, but comfortable though.
Poor laundry treatment, they used 20 staples to "seal" my bag and I have to remove all of them to get my clothes.
All my clothes sent for laundry were written with my room number, all my new clothes were ruined😭.
Never, never staying here anymore
Don't trust the safe box. The manager used his code to unlock it, without using any key or device. Imagine the code was spoofed.
The wardrobe was to small to put anything. No hangers provided, funny. You have to ask for hangers.
Manager could not do enough, great location, roof top pool and balcony off room with great view.
The Rooftop Restaurant is a great place for views of the city and river. 50% off happy hour specials from 430-730 and a wonderful spot to watch the sunset or city views. Had the calamari appetizer which was delicious but small portioned. More pricey than other restaurants in the area but worth it for an afternoon cocktail during happy hour. Didn't stay at the hotel, just visited the Rooftop Restaurant.
Incredibly considerate staff and well-cared for facilities. No, it's not brand-new, so some things might take a little getting used to. Still, the quiet, cool, clean interior of the hotel at its central location more than made up for any shortcomings.
Nice little boutique hotel. Better to ask for the rooms facing the Palace or river (higher floors). A lot of little cafes and restaurants nearby. 5 min walk to the riverside for more selections. I'd come back again.
Room was ok, breakfast is delicious and great quality with two chefs at the buffet station to prepare omelets or noodles. And the coffee is not free, but it was the best tasting of my trip. Definitely have a cappuccino with your breakfast.
This review is purely based on the rooftop bar which offers the best view of the royal palace, cambodia museum and temple behind. Calm and relaxing atmosphere with a small pool, beautiful frangipanis providing shade from the midday heat and a range of drinks and food. Furniture a bit faded and beers around the $3.50 mark but with it for the view
