My wife and I decided to take a little time away on our own. We wanted to see the sights near Siem Reap but still be close to markets and Pub Street. I actually met Chanthou, the owner of Horizons, 6 years ago as my tour guide.
I contacted him and asked about staying with them at Horizons. Luckily they had a room available. I asked that he arrange an itinerary for us along with a tuk tuk for transport. He arranged everything.
Horizons has a very quaint home feel. The room was largeactually two rooms. We had a living room and bedroom. Personally for us, we don't sit in rooms when we travel but, the bed was great and room was nicely appointedaircon worked really well!!
We loved sitting outside in the courtyard with other guests and staff. You definitely come here to feel a connection to the people.
Pub Street and the markets were a short walk away (5 minutes). The area is very safe and people are friendly.
Ultimately, Chanthou and his family made our experience very special. We will go again and bring our kids. I would suggest Horizons to anyone. If you're looking for a large place with hundreds of obnoxious tourists, this is not your place. If you want to learn about Cambodia and get to know some amazing people.look no further.response / report this review -

Take deluxe room. Its much much better for a small price difference and owner is very friendly Staff are very cooperative..

We had a lovely time here, the room was clean, had a/c, and fast wifi. The staff was what made our stay so nice, they were happy to arrange tuktuks, tours, and circus tickets for us. The location was very nice, in a quieter part of town but still walking distance from pub street and the night market.

Decent place for a very decent price. The location is good and staff are friendly. Rooms are clean. The restroom was small with a wet shower which I wasn’t a fan of and you can get a much better rate than the tuk-tuk service they provide but it’s convenient.

An absolute must stay!Very clean and organised,my pick up was ready at the airport early morning.The staff is super friendly and well informed,you would not wantto leave!

We loved our stay here. All the staff were really friendly and super helpful. Great atmosphere and perfect location in Siem Reap for exploring but not being hounded by the volume of pub street!

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make our experience the best they could. The bathroom, while simple, allowed the best shower we had in all of Asia. Everyone tried so hard to make us feel welcome, without being sterile. I can't say enough positives about this place.

Lovely clean, fresh rooms, a home away from home feel, more like a boutique b&b with the best breakfast I've had in Indochina. Walking distance to most of town.
