Clear and beautiful :)
Should be a stunning paradise but the amount of trash washed up is sickening. There is little hope until the country starts looking long term. Clean ups are organised but where do those full bags end up again with Cambodia being what it is, and much is just burned on the beach.
Swimming clothes also stunk when dry and skin itched, likely from effluent.
Stay away and don't encourage this countries eco terrorism with tourism.
Worth the walk through the jungle.
(Remember to take water with you!)
Beautiful and quiet bay, nice to relax and swim
Nice swings in the water, hammock platform, cute white beach.
This is a private Beach and Bungalows, with beautiful milk white sandy, clear blue water, long curve beach, full of trees and closed to the beach, very nice view and clean. The first choice for family's weekend relax, especially for the nature lover.
The beautiful island Koh Rong Sanloem Cambodia with white sands and warm and very inviting crystal clear water! Saracen Bay is paradise and you can literally spend the whole week there doing nothing, not the cheapest of places in Asia because it's Westernised but it's a must visit! Also theres puppies everywhere for the animal lovers.
Amazing beach! You can get here by Speed Ferry Company or by a beach walk and jungle trek that takes about an hour from Mpay Bei. Would suggest trekking during the morning before it gets too hot. The tide might be in so you might have to wade a km through knee deep water, but this beach is so worth it!
this beach is pristine. 75 mins from m'pai through knee deep tide and jungle. worth the trek. bring 1.5l water, bug spray, some snacks. trek can be done in flip flops. topless is allowed here. there is a jetty, so you can also get there via boat.
Really beautiful beach. Gorgeous water and almost no building or person in sight. It takes about 75mins from Mpay Bay. If you look out to the sea from MB head to your right towards the other pier. Walk 20 minutes to that pier when you get to Koh Rong Samloem Villas. The old lady might moan that you are on her private beach so wade into the water to the yellower water where the sand banks is. Wade through the water for about 15 minutes (thigh height) and aim for the headland or the rocks just before it. When you get to the rocks you should look behind them and there is a sign to clear water bay / driftwood. Follow it through the jungle (easy path to follow) for about 30/40 minutes. There is a turning to a tiny beach after 25mins but continue on the main path to clear water bay.
