This was one of my favorite temple complexes to visit because it has few tourists. The complex is beautiful and nestled in the forest. You can take great photos here and enjoy the peacefulness of the temple. It’s a little out of the way from the major attractions but worth the tuktuk ride. Enjoy!
One of the more well preserved temple. Not too far from main temple complex. Well worth the effort to get there!
Great temple you can really enjoy because there are very few tourists. Particularly nice in the last hours before sunset.
Exquisite carvings. Helps to go prepared to understand the scene. Go with a zoom or long lens, since visitors have to see carvings from a perimeter.
This is the first place I visited in SM. It is great.
Away from the crowds you'll be mostly alone as you explore this gem. The temple has survived with lots of it intact. Have your guide share the Ramayana stories in the carvings. It is interesting to see the red stone, lava rocks and granite all in use. Take lots of pictures.
One of the best temples of Angkor. It's beautiful, well reserved and absolutely peaceful.
It's a good spot for sunset watching.
Very detailed cravings, peaceful and not a lot of tourist when we were visiting.
Lovely temple. Better preserved than the others.
It is another temple in the Angkor archeological area and very similar in architecture to Angkor. The temple is. Quite a way out and not many people visit it. It is a temple devoted to Vishnu and bears symbols and friezes associated with the God. It is not a spectacular temple but is more peaceful than other more popular places.
One of the "hidden jems" in the complex that a lot of tours skip. Beautiful temple and had the place (almost) to ourselves although that will likely change
One of the most lovely, haunting sites in the Angkor Wat area. The Apseras have particularly great depth and definition; the spong trees will leave mental images that'll long live with you; and the crowds here are smaller than at the larger sites. You are completely free to wander the grounds and clamber amongst the ruins.
Don't miss ! A medium sized temple with beautiful laterite walls that is considered to be one of the most intact and well restored temples in Angkor. Every pediment on GBE roof of every tower, gate and even the central shrines have detailed carvings of scenes from Hindu mythology. Quite stunning
Great temple to visit .. outside the city and so not so crowded. Also the carvings in this temple are much more intricate than any other temple in this region.
Too much tourists but a very nice temple
Great temple. Calm, since it is not part of small nor large tour. Good conservation. Worth negotiate with your (Tuk Tuk) driver to come here. To get here you pass through some local villages, what is nice as well.
This temple is a little far, so tuktuk driver maybe don't like to come here. Few people come here ,so it's quiet and comfortable .
Hidden gem. So quiet so you can even meditate here. Few tourists were here when we visited it on a late afternoon. You can find cashew nut trees there.
Wonderful grounds for the Ladies temple. Not as spectacular as some of the others but not as crowded and has a dedicated restaurant.
