The best part of my visits to Uptown is their chicken with roast potato platter!! It's costs about Kenya Shillings 2,500 for a good serving of 2-3 people (depending on your appetite) and you will unashamedly lick your fingers. My friends and I go to uptown solely for this reason - the platter. You may need to make an order earlier if you're in a hurry as they take about an hour and a half to prepare, but the wait is really worth it.
If you are a fan of old-school music for a whole night then you will enjoy their Friday nights, otherwise I literally go for the food and leave to go elsewhere where the music is more inviting.
Location is really good and fairly ample parking if you go at night. During the day between 11am-5pm, you may have to wait for parking spots.

Uptown Grill serves good food. Steak, chicken wingsrice curry.. their Whiskey and Scotch are reasonably priced if buying by the bottle. The bar upstairs has a good ambience and the music is good enough and not too loud so you can have a good conversation here.
