Love the basement addition. Sanitation is good. Service is fair. Enjoyed it basically.

This is the best Java location I have been to. I have always received outstanding here. The staff serve you with courtesy and an amiable demeanor. When I am in Nairobi whenever I can, I like stopping by this Java location. When my pocket allows it, Java ain't exactly affordable. And it's always kept clean and has a nice view of Mama Ngina Street. Across the street you also have Cold Stone and Pekeshe Coffee Masters

Went there with 2 friends for dinner. They have a basement sitting area which was quite stuffy, lack of fresh air down there. So we decided to sit upstairs. The service was great and we enjoyed our time there. I don't understand the check thing before you have asked for it but it's cool. Good food and service. Just too crowded if you don't like big crowds

Very nice place, good customer service and good food. The ice cream was amazing and the mango juice really natural.
    Also child friendly!

Super busy most of the time. I would highly recommend the chicken pie if you're looking to grab a quick bite and go. It's especially difficult though to get a seat from around 3:30 pm. If you're getting a to-go meal, just walk up to the counter and it's relatively faster compared to waiting at a table to be attended too. Otherwise it's in a convenient and safe street and easily accessible by cab.

Java service is always great! Though this specific branch has a limited menu. Always take a seat downstairs, it's quite.

    $$$
    Only indoor area, no outdoor.

Food and coffee is expensive but also good quality. Its more of a western style cafe. I felt like I was in Starbox but better food.
They have free internet ( not high speed).
I wish they sold beer as well.
Staff are reasonably friendly and polite.
The service is ordinary as we were waiting for our breakfast a long time.

Nice place but a bit too small and looks dated. Food and service great as in all Java branches. Popular with foreigners.

Casual place for after work meetings. Always peaks during Lunch and Evening, mostly filled with the working class.
But it's a nice spot to seat with a friend and have a conversation.

I like it. I called to order then later went to pick my toasted chicken and cheese sandwich and it was ready. Very strategically located. Good service. Great food.

Very happy with the setting, service and food. I had a delicious Egg and cheese croissant with sausage, apple cinnamon cake with my cappuccino and was very pleased. This one had a small downstairs setup, not too small, just cozy, and an upstairs seating area as well. If you're a tourist and looking for a good place to eat, stop by any Java House.

It had been years since I visited this location, like over 10 years. There were some nice changes, but the cofee remains the same - great. Stopped in for Saturday breakfast. The food reminded me of yummy brunch back home in Houston. And the service was great!

I had an omelette with potatoes and toast with a side of guacamole for the toast. Everything was delicious!

I started out sitting downstairs which offers a nice quite place away from the coming and going of the street. Later I moved upstairs because I need to make use of a power outlet. Upstairs is great for those who enjoy people watching or the bustle of the street.

Great ambiance, a good place to tag a friend or family along. The food is great especially the swahili rice delicacy. On hot days try the basement, it will cool you off.
