Old and elegant hotel. Not past it's good days. Has a nice trail and forest for a nice walk or run. Food and service is good to okay. Not spectacular!!
One of the oldest hotels in Nairobi, has a good golf course. It's high cost hotel out of reach for the common man with average earning. Has all amenities that are associated with a higher end five star hotel;spa, sauna, gym, swimming pool, bar, gift shop storage room etc. It has members club with a registration fee and enjoy certain privileges.
Great environment and location. Customer service is really professional. Proper grooming and maintenance of the course is well done and manicured.
Great place for barbecue and sea food. The hotel environment is cool with acres of green and very nice old trees
Just being at Windsor is therapy. It's like an island. Service could improve as far as haste is concerned. But it's friendly and I don't go here for speed of delivery. If you live near Windsor. Try and join as a member. You will not regret it Golfer or otherwise.
This place is out of this world. You will definitely fall in love with the ambience and their delicious food as you watch golfers do their thing. Be warned, that place is beautiful.
What's not to love? It's a spectacular place with lots of greenery. As a member, there's little to improve. They have a gym for the health conscious, a running track for the nature lovers and a swimming pool for the water dwellers. :)
Their food has its ups and downs and frankly it depends on where you place your order. The poolside food is always very good and fresh.
I love The Place. Perfect service and amazing food. Try their chicken salad wrap any day ☺
Beatiful Club, good food, good service, very hospitable people. Green countryside grounds for golfing, cool breeze. Amazing members, a fun place to do your golfing, Gym, swimming, meet friends clients on any day of the week or weekends.
What a beautiful place. Pristine golf course and amazing flowers all around. Great places to have lunch and a lovely large pool. Love this place. But a little distant from westlands
Best golf course in Kenya. 18 hole course. You will find Pro David, one of the best trainers in Kenya, in this club. Has amazing restaurants too
A golf hotel set in a huge property that's mainly under beautiful green coffee bushes. They have a very high end restaurant in their own jungle
Great view, great breeze from the lake and beautiful golf course. Good food too
Great golf course, very good customer service. A good and professional team. Nice breathtaking walking track
Great ambience. Beautiful view and wonderfully staff. It is worth spending some few days here.
Its must visit with it's beautiful and well manicured lawns and world class golf circuit with an English kind of set up buildings quite medical and world class 5 star service.
Windsor is great!
One just has to visit it to experience it.
Everything about it is a 5*
Better even for getaways.
Great ambience. Great burgers. Great for Sunday brunch at either of the two restaurants facing the fairways as you watch golfers tee-off.
Love the heated pool and there's a kids pool too. Service sometimes slow and menu items missing. Lovely ambience and scenic landscape.
For peace and tranquility merely 30 mins ' drive from Nairobi's CBD, nothing beats the Windsor Golf Hotel. Once a coffee farm, this country hotel is tucked away in rolling hills which comprise an 18-hole course, against a backdrop of Victorian architecture which cleverly blends an old feel with contemporary features. The perfect spot to unwind and enjoy loads of pampering.
Beautiful experience. Just beautiful. Its simply sublime for private mini vacations. The service was great, security as well and the food is very good. The rooms are superb however had a hard time locating charging ports. The rooms are extremely clean though and very inviting. Can't wait for my next mini vacation.
This review is of the golf course and not the hotel. A really nice course with narrow fairways that demand precision and distance. Here's why it wasn't 5 stars.
1. It's a good course but the greens had been sanded (top dressing) and were in poor condition. I was not told when I was paying for the round.
2. The green fees and caddy fees are significantly higher than other equivalent courses in Nairobi like Muthaiga (almost double).
I would certainly recommend playing there if you don't mind paying a lot more.
Beautiful place. Very nice buffet for lunch and nice place to have a coffee with a view of the 18th hole.
The staff are FANTASTIC. Rooms are big and tbe showers are great. No aircon and i found it difficult to get a place in my room to charge my phone or laptop. eventually unplugged the TV. I believe it is a great place to play golf.
The restaurant next to the hotel serves the best food in the complex.
Accommodation in Nairobi is expensive. this hotel is slightly less than some but still US $ 200 per night Bed & Breakfast.
Inside here, for some few hours, u'll wonder if you are still in Nairobi, Kenya. The place is just amazing. Non-debatable quality service an heavenly experience
It has an old English style architecture and very well manicured gardens. The rooms are just so clean and tastefully furnished. The food is so good and features some amazing African dishes. There is also a live band. I especially loved the jazzloft band
