Wonderful beach. Good swimming pools. Good service and friendly staff. The view of the ocean is good and and helps you relax under the shade provided by the hotel. I however did not like their beds. They are uncomfortable and old fashioned

The place is great 😃😃. Staff were very welcoming. And the bars had great drinks.
However the buffet didn't have variety by day 2 you feel like you have tried everything. The salt shakers were super annoying :@
Overall stay was good.

An excellent hotel with great hospitalitygreat beach views and amazingly good pool. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean and comfortable. Saying that, most of the time was outdoors so although people mention poor room quality, it was not a biggie for my enjoyment. The animation team made sure we were all occupied with exciting games which often got a bit competitive but ended up with great laughter when it ended. Thank you all indeed. Cant wait to come bavk soon

I liked southern palms. It has a huge swimming pool, which doesn't make you feel like you're crowded. It is right on the beach, so you get to see the effects of tides on the ocean. If you plan to go, choose the all inclusive, this gives you the chance to ask for anything you want. Southern palms has food all the time, so those who like to eat like me, then your in for a treat. It has plenty of activities like, beach volleyball, water polo, water aerobics..etc. They have a kids club so you can travel with your children. And since it is on the Kenyan coast, the staff are very friendly. You can order or notify the hotel in advance of a special diet, my parents are diabetic, so they ordered fresh made juices with no added sugar or water, they got to drink over 3 times a day for five days.
I would have given this place five stars, but in some areas weren't as classy as I expected. The rooms were big, but the cleanliness didn't match the place, they room service crew kept forgetting to bring me shower gel, and had slow response to helping out when a guest locked themselves out of the room(the doors are very out dated).
Overall, I loved the place, would definitely go back with my family.response / report this review -

The place was gorgeous. It's right on the beach, with gorgeous views. Staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet was very diverse with different cultural food everyday, although the snack bar had a good selection of fast food too. The bar in the pool was my favourite. Our room was clean and well maintained. The beach area has beds and bandas for hotel residents. Good experience.

Helpful friendly staff, especial thanks to Esther (Hostess), Roger (Waiter and Elizabeth Nyambura (Waiter) for the great service. Beautiful beach, lots of lovely pools including some quiet areas. Good choice of restaurants and bars. Some parts ideal for families and young people, some for older/quieter couples.

Located on the south coast of Kenya in Diani. It's many pools is the key standout feature. Rooms are a bit old and could do with some refurbishment including replacing the CRT with LCD TVs. The place has three restaurants which include an Italian restaurant and a Masai Manyatta where the cuisine is a variety of roast meat. Evening entertainment arranged for guests. Overall a very nice place to holiday as the beach is clean and not crowded.

Place is amazing.. staff all nice. Rooms are good. WiFi is terrible in the room we stayed. The food could also be better. Experience overall was amazing but honest rating. Compared to other resorts we've been to in Mombasa

Amazing food. Good options for vegetarians. Indian everyday which we loved. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is very nice. A lot of extras for our wedding party !

It was a good experience but improvement is needed in the menu. Include a more African menu for African guests.

Lovely hotel with an amazing beach. All staff were super friendly with particular credit to the hostess who went out of her way to ensure we were satisfied. Food aplenty, beautiful views, great pool(s) . Great holiday location. Plus there is a shopping centre and 2 supermarkets in close proximity. One where I actually got novels at great prices for those lazy beach days.

You get an amazing view of the beach. The rooms are amazing, spacious and with all amenities up and running. Polite hosts and excellent customer service Best experience of all time so far.
And the adequacy of places to lounge, swim, refresh and recreate. Oh man I'm overwhelmed Love love love this place.

The hotel is beautiful, a place you can mix business and pleasure (as I did). The rooms were clean, air conditioned and quite refreshing, food was amazing (I still cannot get over their breakfast) and service excellent (very attentive attendants). It is also fairly priced. The hotel can organize an airport pick-up for you upon request.
Btw, the hotel does not accept cash so you have to open a tab or walk around with your credit card for any payments!response / report this review -

Just a 10 minute drive from the Ukunda airport. No doubt a beautiful hotel, clean rooms (the occasional handyman work required, but management are quick to fix things). Beautiful pools, which are kid friendly too and some pleasantly covered. The staff are polite and eager to assist. The food is ok, the breakfast layout is amazing! There is a vegetarian (Indian) food section, for those who are worried. They have this amazing snack section for mid-afternoon, and the pizza is amazing!!!!! The beach is clean and plenty of beach beds available. The tide however.what can I say. It's mighty strong, I got swirled around like clothes in a washing machine Lol!!! So for individuals not so good at swimming, have fun but don't venture out too much, the current is very strong, unless you intend on getting rescued by a handsome/beautiful bystander if you get lucky 😉. Besides that, its gorgeous and your bound to have a wonderful time. The famous 40 Thieves Club isn't too far for some exciting night life.

The staff were really amazing and helpful. The food was also great, all you can eat buffet. They also have a gym which is ideal for those who like to weight train. I really enjoyed my stay there.
