Best place to take a holiday and relax in South Coast Kenya. White Sandy beaches. Good African food.

The place itself was nice, was there on a wedding but unfortunately the food experience was bad. All my family got food poison which made our stay not comfortable at all. There was no water at night and once we called the reception they told us that who even showers at 2am considering that the wedding party just finished at that time. The WiFi was down most of the time and the service was horrible. The 2star rating is really just for the look of the hotel as the service they provide is not up to the standard at all.

Above and beyond
Get the half board or full board. You will not regret it.
Had this seared red snapper for dinner on the last night, couldn't find same equality anywhere else. Not even at Tamarind. The spices were in perfect harmony😋🤗😍😌.
Very affordable though the sheets have this weird smell. I guess they use a detergent that smells off or they don't air the sheets.

The place is just amazing. Beautiful view of the ocean. Very good food and in plenty. Amazing service from staff.. Very friendly staff too.. I'm a happy client😀😀

The show time team is just amazing very energetic and involves the crowd too,I would give 5stars for them.
Apart from that the food just basic,on the tidyness an average rating would do

We enjoyed the stay, the food was good and the staff was friendly. however, I got double billed at the spa, and I made several calls and the girls said that they would follow with the manager and have my money refunded but that did not happen.

The beach is very nice. The hotel is a bit old but it is still nice. There is a club for kids and even a cinema for the kids.
These things are highly counter balanced by serious lacks in the management. We had to argue with them on nearly everything. Did not get us the right réservation, andthe thing we paid for. The rooms were so much dirty, we had to give them back for cleaning (not check before to give them to us)
The prices were never the same, and subject to change even after agreements
What save them from 1 star?
We did new year eve there, and it was really great evening, well organized and well done.response / report this review -

Most important is that the staff are understanding of the overwhelming challenges the hotel faces, from packages with a lot of exclusions to the limited variety in terms of food.
The hotel is in need of a face lift, quality of food really wanting esp the buffet only savior is a la carte menu.
Management should really think of creating & marketing all inclusive packages, it’s really getting thrashed by it’s competitors at this end.
The kids zone is well thought out & a plus for the hotel.
Close proximity to amenities such as a hospital & shopping centers is a plus.
Overall there’s a lot to be done for the hotel to compete with the likes of leopard beach.response / report this review -

Diani reef is a nice luxurious place to go on holiday in Mombasa it has tasty food ,a nice beach,heated pools and cozy beds I recommend you to go to this hotel cause I thought it was wonderful spending my time there.

Relaxing experience, private access to beach, multiple restaurants to choose from, has clubs, kids play area, 2 swimming pools, well ventilated and lit rooms, beautiful scenery and helpful staff.

Lovely hotel on the beach. The rooms need a bit of an update. The food here is excellent. Food service can be a bit slow but other services like housekeeping are quick and efficient. The staff are very helpful
