Fantastic place to stay. With the lodge situated right on the Ewaso Ng'iro river, its scenic and very well located inside Samburu National Park.

Fantastic lodge on a river in the middle of the Samburu Reserve. This is a superb lodging for safari rides where you'll see elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards and much more. One day a huge herd of elephants came tromping down the nearly dry river bed. Bird lovers shouldn't miss the daily outing with Jacob, a great spotter and expert on local birds. Rooms are comfortable and food is excellent.

Great location, baboons, kudu and monitor lizards wander around the camp, not to mention "Thomas" a very, very large crocodile who pops in for supper now and again!

Excellent hotel. Good food. Take car while raining as room access can get flooded.

Good atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, crocodile feeding, not too expensive, compared to other, similar lodges—my favorite lodge in the Samburu and Buffalo Springs nature reserves.
