What an awesome place"Little House On The Prairie" meets "Out Of Africa"! This charming, timber built log cabin provides all the comforts of home, 15,000 feet up Mount Kenya.
The staff are super discrete, taking care of your every need, cleaning, cooking, building the all important fire and then vanishing the moment you want some "alone time".
We caught fresh trout in the lake and had it for dinner, took a helicopter ride to the top lake and then spent an enjoyable hour or two walking back to the lodge where dinner was waiting for us. If you want to get away for it all and just spend a few days of total rest, fresh air and silent nightsthis is the place for you.response / report this review
