Great restaurant when it comes to food and ambience but terrible terrible joint when it comes to events. Very poor security and we are in 2018! Three of my friends and I having lost our phones in one night so, leave your belongings with the bar tender or carry disposable phones when headed here.

One of the highlights of my Kenya trip! Loved the food, the environment, and the wait staff was all incredible. Definitely recommend this place if you're a fan of meat, but they do also have lots of vegetarian options!

Very Good Service. Food is served in Brazilian grill style. Very delicious. Along with the meats comes different sauces. I suggest to add any hot sauce because the chili sauce served is mild.
Overall a really unique experience and nice atmosphere. Bill for 2 persons was 7800 shillings including extra charge of 2 fresh
juices.

Well. There are all kinds of meat. This is a perfect place if you want to have a good evening. Eat to your fill as you experience nice African classical music. The service is great. Very kind hosts and always keep checking on you. Good for a dinner date with an out of country friend you want to impress.

Carnivore is an absolute must visit when in Nairobi. This is truly a meat paradise with exceptional service. We were well served and the meat keeps on coming. On Fridays they have a dance floor for the more adventurous. Great restaurant!

Expensivehave stopped making the thick fluffy chips and their direction red hone made sauce.. good standards good. Service very slow. Everything else very nice-kids area and entertainment, bar, food portions. and have kept much of the decor as original as it was 20years ago

We went there twice and loved it. Excellent food and service. People are always smiling and give a great atmosphere. Typical cocktail is amazing and the whole experience given is amazing. Will definitely go back when we can go back to Nairobi

Meat lover paradise, they have got all kind of meat crocodile, Bull's ball, ostrich, turkey, chicken, lamb and many moreall Grilled, most famous is crocodile meat and Bull's ball, Nice place to hangout with friends and family. They also have vegetarian dishes and they are fabulous.

Carnivore is a great place if you want to relax with the family and friends. I particularly love it because it is children friendly with great outdoors. Last time I was here, only children were on the dancefloor, at night, which is great because I was also with the baby.

The food is great, try the grills. Superb meat.

The service is not the best, though. The waiters tend to forget your order, or to bring you the bill.

Fantastic place, fantastic food, amazingly nice staff. The Rodiccio style meat is great, the people there is really nice and friendly. Highly recommended. It's a must if you are in Nairobi, absolutely!!

Amazing place for Meat Lovers wanting to try new things. Great environment decorations and staff. I recommend to go at dinner time because after having dinner there’s a place nearby to party. You have to try the crocodile

Good food, good service, fun atmosphere.

These days they don't have anything very exotic on the menu. The most outside of ordinary thing you're likely to get is crocodile (a little like lobster), or buffalo testicle.

It's an iconic Nairobi mainstay. Worth doing once.

Obviously not a good option for vegans

Food was okay. Service was a little slow and servers couldn't remember which meats we already had. Really enjoyed the soup "appetizer" at the beginning but the waiter took it from me before I could finish even though I asked him several times to stop trying to take it.

They offer the beast of a feast which translates to all you can eat from a variety of meat options my best being crocodile! They have spacious sitting area, a cool bar and very friendly staff. If you're lucky you'll meet monkeys in the garden/playground area!

Delicious food, kind staff, great dining experience. I'd recommend to anyone. It's a set menu with nonstop meat including lamb, pork, beef, chicken, crocodile, rabbit, and ostrich. As of October 2017, the meal ran approximately $36.

Great food, wonderful hospitality. I especially love the playground at the back of the restaurant. Perfect family spot.

I held my son's birthday party there and all the wait staff came out singing as they brought his cake. ♥ You can't give more than 5 stars, but I would have given them about 7!!!

I came here first in 2009. I was super impressed then and my respect for the carnivore has gone a notch higher. It has expanded to make it a restaurant suitable for all the family. It's the only place with the highest combo of exotic meat if you are a meat lover. Looking forward to bringing my family over again.

Not impressed at all. Limited exotic meats and not really exotic meat for the price paid, I'd rather go eat a juicy steak! in addition, they don't have all the meats/cuts listed on the menu. Only informed when we finally ask while eating Not a place I would recommend.

I went to this place for dinner, it is an amazing place, greened natural plants and flowers. Their food is very nice. If you are staying in hotels in Town, you should come here for dinner. Ideal place for couples and dates.

A Kenyan take on the Brazilian steakhouse. Plenty of outdoor seating available during my visit in the off season. Variety of meats, with less exotic meats than in the past due to tighter regulations. Staff was very pleasant, but not always very swift in bringing drinks or more food. The chili sauce is made in house and was delicious when paired with "anything" just as our waiter recommended

The Carnivore has been in existence for so many years. It is known to have hosted several local and international musical events. They have varieties of foods and drinks! Staff are very friendly and helpful. They will definitely make you enjoy your moments there.
