    Great facilities. HOWEVER:
This place is grossly understaffed. I spent 6 hours in the blood Donor unit, where one nurse was responsible carrying out receptionist duties in terms of handling and reviewing the donor forms, taking vitals, drawing the blood, handing out soda to donors and managing traffic in the section of the hospital. Because of this slow service, I ended up paying high parking fees.
    Please, do better.

Not so good experience during delivery I still believe that the whole process would have been handled better. But after that the rest of the staff were very helpful. Meals always on time, cleaners we consistent. I never understood why the name of senior doctors are indicated against patients name name to indicate that the doctor is incharge yet I never saw the said doctor through out the process. I think that is misleading.

The Aga Khan Hospital is one of Nairobi's best, offering some of the best doctors and services. However, it is regularly full - almost brimming to capacity. This makes parking a nightmare at times, so it is best to Uber to and fro if possible. Additionally, service delivery at the laboratory may be slow due to the pressure of patients. It is best to expect that it will take a while to complete your visit, and plan accordingly. Thankfully, there is a Java House on the premises (in the Doctor's Plaza) that is great if you get hungry.

I liked this Hospital for their speed in processing medical reports though slightly expensive. Cost of consultation is also slightly high especially if you are paying via cash.

The age Khan University Hospital is a wold class hospital which is one of the few premium hospitals in Kenya. The mian hospital has all medical needs available understand one roof from accident and emergency, pediatric clinic, opthomologists, dentists and all specialists in the the health sector. The only disappointing thing is those pharmacy, there are huge lines and one can take up-to 2 hours before your can buy your prescription.

    Worst experience ever.
The doctor we were to see at 9 felt that it was convinient enough for her to go have breakfast with her friends and show up 2 hours later.

Hated it. Rude receptionist at the antenatal clinic and a rude manager. I called in for clinic hours and was given the wrong hours. Not even an apology for the miscommunication. They only thing they tell you is come back tomorrow.

I am speaking specifically about the wait at the orthopaedic clinic which I have been waiting at for the last hour with no progress. Customer experience is clearly not a priority. My guess is that the clinic was over-booked or the doctor was late but what really disappointed was the expectation from Aga Khan staff that one should wait one hour with no service. There were no apologies for wait times and if anything the staff seemed surprised that I should expect appointment timing to be kept. We need some competition for this customer service dinosaur.

The main hospital is terrible. You wait 2 hours to be seen at the triange, another 2 hours to see the doctor. Crazy.
On 22/12/2017 after waiting for 3 hours a lady at the entrance A said I couldn't get help as there are no doctors.
Am back on 30/12/2017. Got here at 3pm and as I write this I have not seen a doctor after 6.20pm. All patients look damn frustrated.
Is there any hope left for a good hospital in this country.

Dentistry which is housed separate from main hospital is quite efficient. However if you plan to seek Gynaecology services, please do not waste your time booking an appointment. Appointments mean absolutely nothing!!! You will wait in line like everyone else, and it will take approximately 2-3 hours to see the doctor even when the queue is quite short.
    Very disappointed.

    DOCTOR FROM HELL!
DOCTOR MIRIAM RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT FROM AGA KHAN HOSPITAL PARKLANDS!
Where do i even begin!my 2 year old daughter had an episode of diarrhoea which was quite bad last week monday.we gave ORS and later went to Getrudes .they did a stool test which came out negative for any virus or infection.they however gave us some zinc and more ORS to take home.she had started improving and things were looking up until friday when the diarrhoea started off again this time accompanied with stomach pain.so we decided to sort a second opinion and we settled for aga khan.they ran the same stool tests this time checking for rotavirus but it came out negative too.no further tests were done and the doctor suggested we give lots of fluids and we were sent home. Now,the diarrhoea wasn't as frequent but the stomach pains were slowly getting worse.fast forward, last night at around midnight, she wakes up crying ,crinching and in alot of pain so we decide to go back to aga khan since going to a third hospital wasn' t making sense at the time.so we waited in line till around 2am.we had no issue with the waiting time since friday we had also waited from 11 to 3am.so we go in to see the doctor who suggests we get an ultra sound as the last resort cos she couldn't pin point what the problem was after carrying out all physical examinations.so she sends a request to the person in charge.this person in charge is a doctor by the name miriam who works at radiology. this very well educated doctor decides our case is not an emergency and we should go home and come back the following day which is today as she is very busy with other ' more serious' patients.so we tell the doctor we would like ťo speak with miriam face to face cos it wasn't practical to keep us waiting all that time only to send us home without a solution.she hesitates and tells us the hospital policy does not allow her to walk patients to the radiology area!well whatever that means!!so we walk up to radiology which is completely abandoned.only the guard and receptionist in sight. We request to see miriam.this lady walks towards us very sluggishly looking like she just woke up.so we explain our situation and this is what she says ' I HAVE ALREADY SPOKEN TO THE PAEDIATRICIAN AND TOLD HER I CANNOT SEE YOU.I CHOOSE WHO TO SEE AND WHO NOT TO SEE AND LIKE I SAID YOUR CASE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY.I HAVE PEOPLE IN CRITICAL CONDITION WHO NEED ME AND YOU GUYS CAN COME BACK TOMORROW.BESIDES WHO TOLD YOU THE SCAN IS THE END OF YOUR PROBLEMS?YOUR DOCTOR IS JUST DOING IT AS ROUTINE ,WHICH IF YOU ASK ME IS NOT EVEN NECESSARY BUT ANYWAY THATS HER DEPARTMENT.SO SPEAKING ON MY PART,AM NOT DOING ANY SCAN SO KINDLY BOOK YOURSELVES IN ON A LATER DAY.LET US KNOW WHEN YOU ARE READY TO COME BACK.and she wished us a goodnight.fast forward,we opted to go to General Accident this morning and yes they did the scan and the resident doctor confirmed that she has a condition where the small intestines have caved into the large intestines.yes it is a serious condition which requires immediate medical attention with the intervention of a surgeon.why chose to work in a hospital knowing very well your heart is as cold as ice.who turns away a sick baby in such a rude manner!she wasn't serving any patients, if my guess is right, she was sleeping

I had a very bad experience yesterday 10/09/2017 at aga Khan Kikuyu branch. The lady at the pharmacy was very arrogant with the worst attitude ever. She kept us waiting for 4 hours with my 2 year old even after my insurance company. confirming to her that they cover for all vaccines. They requested her to call the main hospital to confirm the same. She bluntly said in front of me that she hates doing emails and that I should go and come back some other day or sit down and wait. I opted to sit and wait only for me to go back after 40minutes of waiting and she had not even attempted to call or do an email. I complained and even after intervention from the main hospital manager, she did not bother to give my prescription to the doctor after the approval was done. I had to go back and seek assistance from the receptionist who was kind enough to intervene. The guard himself who noticed what was happening came and apologised on her behalf. Apparently, almost every patient who went at the pharmacy came back complaining about her attitude. One lady swore not to go back to that branch until the gentleman who is normally there resumes. Annoyed client.

I had a patient admitted in May all the staff were very Kind especially the ones in the dialysis ward. The food was exceptional and the cleanliness is that of a five star institution.
However, I have been following up for refund in vain could someone call me.

I had my daughter at this hospital in 2015 and found the staff to be amazing. Even the security staff at the entrance are happy and helpful. Nurse Diana in Maternity Outpatients was so wonderful and followed up my issue that it gave me confidence to book in there. The technology and attentiveness of nurses, midwife and admin staff was great and best cakes and cocoa served too. Nurse Evelyn in Maternity Ward was brilliant and went beyond as well.

Worst experience. Cant be admitted because they cant reach the medical director or his secretary as my doctor is not in their list. But theatre confirms I was booked by the same doctor a week ago. How do you confirm booking and later cancel without advising your doctors and clients?
Is it possible for a hospital not to have a manager on call?
Well been sent home without any treatment and i just lost 5 hours of my life!!

I saw Dr Rajula. He schedules all patients to arrive at the same time which can mean hours of waiting. He even does this for procedures. His complete disrespect for his patient's time will keep me from coming back.
