I really enjoyed my stay, I wish I had more than a one night stay.

The dryer broke so the manager built me q clothesline from scratch. Clearly 5 stars and he spoke perfect English. I chose the capsule (super affordable for a backpacker, maybe a little costlier than an Internet cafe) and was not disappointed.

Most of the staff very rude. And not willing to help. :(

Good price, a little hot and smelly air but nice staff and beautiful view from the balcony by the bath.

Nice bath house, but no showers. Bed comforter a little thin. Capsule plenty big for what it is. No AC in Capsule so warm. No electrical outlets in capsules. Small locker provided with room and large 12 hr ones avail for 400. TV only one japanese channel unless you buy card. Decent lounge, but could use some more outlets for extension splitters.

Stayed in the Capsule Hotel for one night.

I wouldn't recommend the Capsule Hotel for a long stay, It's not very comfortable and the hotel does seem run down.

it was a fun experience though.

I stayed at a capsule here for a very brief time. The place seemed run down and in disrepair, and the capsules moreso. The lights worked, but the AC unit was not working right, so sleeping in one of these was not conformable. I bailed out after shelling out 3000 yen and managed to find a real hotel with some vacancies.

I stayed at Hotel New Gyominso during my quick visit to Japan in 2011. Very affordable, and the brilliant 'capsule' rooms are available. The rate includes the bath house on top of the building with nice view toward Sumida river and Tokyo Sky Tree (which was still under construction back then.)
Will definitely stay there again for my next visit to Tokyo. Great service too.
