  Located in the hida mountains in a small village it is still very good reachable by nohi bus. There is an huge bus stop for all directions so you never get lost in the small town. However the hotel it self is slightly aged but still very nice with a wide variaty of rooms. The onsen is also very nice with yakuzi and indoor bath but also 2 types of rotemburo. Private openair baths are also available on request.

  Nive view, traditional Japanesse rooms and amaizing Onsen (indoor and outdoor), maybe pretty old fashion place, but perfect value/price balance

  Friendly and helpful staff, though you may struggle with it at times if you don't speak Japanese.
  
  The public onsen here are fantastic, and open overnight until 8:30 am - relaxing under the stars is a great experience.
  If public onsen is too intimidating, they also have private onsen available for a modest fee, which need to be booked ahead (book at reception, I was able to get a lot of choice booking one day in advance).
  
  The room was also very nice, though as with many hotels in Japan, indoor smoking is common, and the room carries a mild smell of cigarettes.
  
  As a bonus, the trip through the mountains to get here is very picturesque.

  Old fashioned ryokan. Rooms are not well maintained. Doesn't worth its price.

  We booked a Japanese style standard room for one night stay.include dinner and breakfast .you can use hot spring when you want.but private one need extra charge for 2000en /one group for 50mins .anyway the food is good the room is totally Japanese style . Recommend
