  Ever so kind staff. The evening meal was tasty and the local hand made miso was exceptional. The 1 year old miso was the best. But the absolute best aspect of here was the incredibly kind staff.

  Nice meal, traditional, welcoming to all regardless of Japanese ability. All at a reasonable price. They offer drop off service to the bus terminal (not sure about pick-up), but the walk from the terminal is beautiful and worth it imo.

  Very nice ryokan. It has an articial onsen and rotenburo. Have dinner there is an interestint thing to do!

  Absolutely beautiful. The cost or entry and the restaurants were a little pricey but it was worth it for the 8.5 million lights

  Ohara is a super peaceful and zen village. Great getaway from the big city. This hotel is a traditional Japanese place where you get to sleep at futons. Dinner was is great! Onsen was alright, not a lot of people so you get it solo.

  A bit of a walk (about 15 minutes) from the Ohara bus station, but worth it for the views alone. The inn is fantastic as well with very friendly and helpful staff. English-only friendly as well.
