Great little ryokan with nice public bath areally and close to Takegawara onsen so v convenient for sand bath. Room shook somewhat which was disconcerting and a little walk to the toilets but other than that very happy

Wonderful onsen ryokan with its own relaxing private baths. Comfortably located within walking distance of Beppu Station. Friendly staff and great tatami mat rooms.

If you visit here during non-prime period, this place is the best economic Ryokan. The room for one person is not spacious and you can only use public onsen for free but when I used it, no one came. So I could use it very conveniently.

Clean and cozy Japanese hotel. Not a good option if you mind about a good private shower (Japanese showers are open spaces, without any type of privacy).

Very good experience. Coming from Oita Airport, Beppu Kitahama station is nearest station. Don't miss their breakfast and dinner, those are special for me.

I'd recommend everyone coming to Beppu stay at Nogami Honkan. They have number of onsens, both shared and privates ones, and spacious rooms. Staff is super friendly! Great location!

Good for the price, though not all rooms have showers, to get a shower you need to complain a lot/all be foreign, my wife is Japanese so no shower for us, but the private onsens were nice and they opened them longer just for us. At check in my wife was also ignored and only when a male came forward would the staff lift their head.
