Underwhelming hotel in Beppu. Facade is old, and the interior of the hotel is tired looking in the lobby, rooms and onsen. The sound proofing of the room is very poor, and you might lose sleep due to the squeaky wood panels, and the heavy traffic in front of the hotel. The sheer popularity of Beppu means there is alot of human movement throughout the night, doors slamming and people raising their voices at 2am. I can tolerate old hotels but this one should be avoided if you want to rest well.
Very good place. Steps are so kind
We have a fantastic travel experience. There are warming, sweet service. Good dinner, convince and nice view, let my daughter haves good memory on her birthday.
Very good
Hotel New Tsuruta. Outdated, dirty and dusty rooms and the building itself
Onsen wasn't as big as I thought or compared to those I've been to before.
The hotel is very dated and showing its age. It was OK for one night to experience a traditional Japanese hotel with straw mats and futons. Location is pretty good.
Excellent place with a good service from the staff. Location is slightly away from the train station but still walkable even if you have a big luggage bag with wheels. The hotel put us on the same level as the onsen, convenient for us to freely use as and when we want to.
